About this property

Enjoy the rocking chairs while overlooking a beautiful meadow and lake from a newly renovated, private entrance, apartment. Within walking distance are all the amenities of Burmil Park: fat-tire and paved path biking, golfing, kayaking, tennis, running, walking, fishing, and bird watching.

Fully furnished kitchen, queen bed in the bedroom, sofa bed, ROKU TV, internet, patio with two rockers, and washer/dryer in the apartment. Fishing equipment, bicycles, and other "toys" are available for use by our guests. The apartment has a private entrance and parking right at the door. There are no steps.

Although the apartment feels like a rural retreat, guests can drive to dining, shopping, and entertainment in 10 minutes.

Rental is by the week. Monthly discount rate of 5%. Well behaved pets are welcomed.

Summer Retreat

Walkout basement apt with large covered patio that looks out to large yard and small pond. Very peaceful and quiet. Secluded safe area where we loved watch deer families everyday. Hosts were so kind, made our stay special. Great place for grandparents with visiting grandchildren. Can walk to greenway trail and BurMill park to play Pickleball and swim. Apt had everything we needed for a 3 mo summer stay. Great location!

Calm oasis!

Lovely stay at an amazing property. Great views and a very cozy feel. It feels like it is far removed from the city buzz, but essentials are within a 10 minute drive. Wonderful way to reconnect in the Greensboro area.

Amazing Peaceful Retreat

This was our second year in a row, and I can't say enough. Ellis and Helen are amazing host. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on their deck, such gracious hosts. Property is it's own natural oasis to relax and enjoy. There are so many parks, restaurants and sites to see, wether music, nature, antiques, dining etc, it's all here. When you come back from an adventure you have a peaceful place to relax. Cook your own meal and sit outside with nature and enjoy. We have decided as long as this place is available it will always be our first choice in the Greensboro. 💕
