1870 Victorian Inn located in Historic Milan, OH. Only 15 min from Cedar Point.
This property is the ideal location for family gatherings. Just outside of Sandusky, Milan keeps you out of Vacationland traffic while only being minutes from Cedar Point. It accommodates multiple families with plenty of room indoors and out. Enjoy the very large eat-in kitchen with a dinning room table and breakfast bar that keeps people out of the cooking area. Or send them into the adjoining game room to shoot some pool. The bedrooms have plenty of room for a pack and play or even a full size air mattress. The large back hallway makes a nice play area. Outside, enjoy a cookout on the grill, gather around the firepit, or explore the 4.5 acre wood.
We had a great time this weekend. We are sorry that we did not find you sooner!!! Everything was wonderful! The house is beautiful. Everyone was very impressed. We are already looking forward to next year.
Thanks for everything, Kim Miller
We were looking for somplace 15 family members could gather for a weekend, and we found the perfect spot! The location had something for everyone from the 2 yr old to the 79 year old, from golf to shopping to amusement parks to just plain old exploring the countryside. The house was wonderful, plenty of room outside and in. We loved the seclusion, not having to worry if we were being too noisy, and everyone loved the fire pit, as that's where we would catch-up after going our separate ways during the day. And the kitchen actually has the equipment and supplies for a large group! We hope to be back next year!
We had a lovely time and enjoyed the Inn. Definitely hoping to stay again.
This property is definitely the ideal attraction; Secluded yet in middle of everything you'll need for your stay. The house is wonderfully furnished and decorated. Very spacious, we had I believe 15 people in our party and there was more than enough room for everyone. The pictures are nice, but truly does not justify on just how nice this home is....everything you need is there.
The owners were very nice and friendly, and available for any questions you may have, though the welcome book is very informative and detailed.
We're already thinking of planning a winter trip!
With 3 families and 8 kids, it was perfect!!! The house was clean, the kids could run in the yard, had water balloon fight (I apologize for any water balloon guts we missed), the rooms were nicely arranged and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Thank you so much for giving us the privilege to stay there -- it was fabulous.
We were looking for somewhere for all 15 members of our family could stay for a long weekend trip to Cedar Point. The house was exactly what we had hoped for. It is very spacious, and the younger kids enjoyed the big yard to play in the evenings after busy days. Everyone enjoyed the fire pit at night. The house had everything you could need, besides your own personal items.
The house provided a perfect home-base for our three-generation family get-together. We enjoyed having so much common gathering space, as well as privacy in the bedrooms. Being under one roof made socializing much easier than in a hotel, especially with younger kids who needed to get to bed and rest up for Cedar Point. We were amazed by the incredibly well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed the fire pit and the room to play and run around. The games and books available throughout the house were a nice touch, and the pool table got a LOT of use. Thank you for a fantastic getaway!
Historic Milan, Ohio. Birthplace of Thomas Edison. Reminiscent of a rural New England town, the Milan, Ohio retail business area is built around the charming town square which was established as the town's centerpiece in 1867 along with the Solders & Sailors Monument which was dedicated on July 4, 1867. The monument features the names of all 330 citizens of Milan who served in the Civil War. The clock towered town hall was built in 1876 and the Milan Library in 1912. The large picturesque gazebo was added in the 1960's and The Young Edison Statue in 1984. Annual activities on the square include Antiques On The Square in July and the famous Milan Melon Festival during the Labor Day Weekend each year.
