'Beach House' was built from Bermuda stone, quarried across the street, in the late 1800s. It has been expanded and maintained over the years, ensuring that its unique charm is preserved without sacrificing comfort. Cozy bedrooms have Bermuda cedar beams, the dining room is cedar paneled, and the living area is open and spacious. A full country style kitchen with island and eat at table looks out onto the back courtyard, and the front patio offers space you will use everyday. 'Beach House' is also just steps from the private Marley Beach. Conveniently, it is directly on the South Shore bus route, there being stops directly at the property gate.

Great Laid Back Vacation House

The Beach House at Marley Beach was a great house for enjoying an easy going vacation in Bermuda. It was well appointed and clean with plenty of room to relax. The photos of the home give you a good idea of what to expect, not luxurious just wonderfully comfortable. The semi-private beach was incredibly beautiful. The house is well located on South Road and across the street from the bus stop and the bus that will take you to most of the well-known beaches or to Hamilton and the ferries. Steve and Gordon could not have been nicer. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer.

If I owned a vacation home in Bermuda, it would be this house.

My family and I just returned from our 7-day stay at the "Beach House" located at Marley Beach. We loved it and will be back!!! We rented other homes in Bermuda in prior years, but this has been the best house so far. The house is very cozy and because of its library room, beautiful wall art, décor items, plants around the house, and fully equipped kitchen, it feels like a real home. To me, it was important that the house was very clean. The bedding, pillows and towels were all super clean and looked new. The kitchen had every plate, pot and utensil you ever need to cook. We did a lot of BBQ’ing as well. Our kids – ages 5 and 8 – had plenty of room to play inside the house and the outside patio area. The patio was one of my favorite places to relax after a full day on the beach, gaze at the stars at night and enjoy family conversations. The private beach is a minute walk away. Marley Beach is very clean and spacious, and we happened to be the only ones using it every time we went there. Depending on the wind, the waves can be a bit rough there and there are some rocks you have to watch out when entering the water, but the privacy and beauty of the beach compensate for that. Stops for Bus #7 are right next to the house. I really recommend this house and thank Gordon and the owners for making our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.

Fantastic week

This is a beautiful property in a great location. The description and pictures are accurate, the house was in order, and clean. Gordon greeted us upon arrival and answered all of our questions.

The Swizzle Inn is walking distance from the property and is an excellent place for dinner and Rum Swizzles.

We bought the weekly bus passes from Gordon and would highly recommend them. There is a stop right outside the house that will take you towards either Hamilton (pink pole) or the Dockyards and beaches (blue pole). Be patient until you figure out the schedule. You will be using the #7 line. Locals use the bus and are more than willing to help out.

Taxi's are abundant, but will get expensive throughout the week ($25+ to Hamilton from the house). Take a taxi from the airport though. It will run approx. $50 (cash) but you can stop at the grocery store on the way in from the airport.

Marley Beach is private and beautiful. I suggest visiting nearby Horseshoe Bay beach, but you really only need Marley for a true Bermuda beach experience.

We were a family of 4 (my wife and 13 and 15 y/o) and had more than enough room! I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Wonderful place to stay!

We had a great time here. Large clean spacious house...Great comfortable layout for 4-6 people. Bright and airy eat-in kitchen with new appliances and everything you need to entertain and cook great food. Wonderful private patio directly off kitchen offers the opportunity to dine outside as well as another large spacious patio on the other side of the house that provides lots of seating and dining options. We were warmly greeting upon arrival by the Property Manager, Gordon who showed us around and outlined all the amenities and was available throughout our stay to answer any questions. The famous Swizzle Restaurant/Bar Is a very short walk....and offers great food. Everything you could possibly need is here...including a mobile phone free of charge for all local calls. This property is on the coveted south beach which offers the most beautiful turquoise waters and beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend this property....oh...almost forgot....the beds are comfortable too!

Great House and the Best Location....

Overall a great house! Very cozy and clean with an open layout that was plenty of space for our family of four. I must say that the location of the house is perfect. Very central to all the best beaches on the south shore, and bus stops are directly in front of the house. In addition, the private beach (Marley Beach) is steps away and was a big plus. The beach was so nice (above our expectations) that we spent a couple of days there without even going elsewhere. Very private and we enjoyed coffee on the beach most mornings.

Excellent service by the property manager Gordon. He showed us around the property and also spent time giving us restaurant recommendations. Steve was also very good with timely communication in getting the property reserved. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the property.
