Our family of five loved this apartment. We had plenty of room for everyone and my wife was especially happy that housekeepers stopped by every day and cleaned! The apartment is in an excellent location, literally minutes walk from some of the most famous sights in Rome and the terrace has great views of the Forum. Carlo was a first-rate host and was very responsive to our requests. He met us upon arrival, arranged for transportation to and from the airport and met us for our departure, as well. We loved our Rome vacation home and would definitely come back for more.
The property did not disappoint, the ancient building coupled with modern amenities made it feel like we were living in Rome. The apartment is in a safe, central location and within walking distance to many historical, shopping and restaurant locations. We spent our mornings and evenings on the lovely terrace. The small grocery store down the street had a good selection of food and Carlo was helpful and available for any questions we had during our stay; the perfect host. Grazi Carlo and Rome. Lisa & Alex. Stayed Sept 5-17 2016
We really enjoyed this apartment and would recommend it to anyone. The light-filled top floor with kitchen, dining/sitting area, and terrace overlooking part of the Roman Forum is a joyous spot to hang out during all times of the day. The bedrooms and baths are all very comfortable. We were especially pleased with -- and pleasantly surprised by -- the daily maid service that made our beds, cleaned up the kitchen, and otherwise kept the place extra tidy. The owners and their staff were immediately responsive whenever we had any questions. On top of all this, the location is perfect -- both quiet (no tourist crowds!) yet convenient to the parts of Rome we wanted to visit. Great choice!
This is a very nice property that has a spectacular view of the Forum from the balcony. Coordinate when you will be arriving with Camilla, and someone will be there to show you around. Everything is within walking distance, and you should be willing to navigate 3 stairways in the house too (great exercise!). There are markets nearby to get some food for the fridge (or wine). Camilla can also arrange airport and cruise transport from the house, which helps a lot. I would also suggest having a chef prepare an awesome meal for you in the kitchen. Camilla can also organize that. It is great fun. This is a lovely property, and you will enjoy staying here way more then a hotel. We had 4 adults (2 being a niece and nephew, 18 and 19). They loved the property (it did have wi-fi)!! After dark it does cool down a bit in the summer, and the Forum looks beautiful lit up. The Circus Maximus is nearby, and they do have concerts there. Lots of places to eat within walking distance too. I will come back again.
Our family of 5 including our three daughters (19, 14, 14) thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay in this lovely apartment. Carlo met us on time to check in and explained the many nice features of the apartment and the surrounding area. The Roman Forum is a half block away and there is a nice grocery store and restaurant a block in the other direction. All of the wonderful sites of ancient Rome are within easy walking distance as are a multitude of good restaurants for a variety of italian dinners. The apartment is built on three levels and it is very clean and well equipped. The furnishings were beautiful. The air conditioning was efficient and much appreciated! There is a lovely porch on the roof with an excellent view that was perfect for sipping wine after each day of sight seeing. Overall this apartment was a great place to call home when we were in Rome. We had a wonderful visit and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a luxury holiday in ancient Rome!
From the moment we stepped into the courtyard of this beautiful apartment we knew our dream for the stay had come true. The apartment was lovely, spotless, and inviting. We spied new treasures hidden in corners and displayed throughout the rooms. We could not have asked for more accommodating owners who arranged our airport transport and provided maps and other helps. The location of the apartment was a particularly delightful surprise as we found ourselves right in the middle of the historic section, steps from the forum and other tourist musts. Beds were comfortable and the terrace was a favorite spot to linger. Do not hesitate to book this delightful home.
