Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The Pines property is the perfect location for the peace and quiet you want on your vacation but close enough to just about anything you want/ need. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here, the house was immaculate when we arrived which we really appreciated. We used the Pines as homebase because of its location between N.Conway and Bridgeton. The house itself was quaint and perfect for our family of four. The views from the area were awesome and the property owners are super nice and helpful. Hopefully we get a chance to return in the summer to enjoy all the other great things the area has to offer. Cant' wait!!! Thanks for having us.

Great get away!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 and our Aussie stayed at the Pines for 3 nights over February vacation. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to stay then this is it! We skied at nearby Shawnee peak (about 20 minutes away) and did some ice fishing on Moose Pond. We had unseasonably warm weather during our stay so we were able to enjoy the deck and more importantly the views! The house is secluded-heck I think the driveway alone is a 10 minute drive :)-but close enough to area attractions so you can enjoy all the area offers but then retreat to the woods (and quiet) when you need to. Our biggest regret was not staying longer as I would of loved to take advantage of the trails right at our door step.

The house was very clean and well stocked with everyday basic kitchen wares. The owners were great about communicating and when we couldn't find the driveway met us to lead the way. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Tranquil Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway at the Pines, in Denmark, Maine. It was the perfect location to get some much-needed peace and quiet. The cottage is situated at the end of a gravel road on Allen mountain. There is easy access to trails in the woods, which our dogs enjoyed. There was no internet connection, but this was a bonus as it meant we could totally disconnect from the outside world. It was great playing cards and board games for a change. Bridgton, only 10 miles away, was a quirky and fun little town with a cinema, numerous restaurants and shops.

Cozy and clean

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time! House was clean and warm for when we arrived after dark. Had everything we needed and it was pet friendly! Jaquie and Kevin even left bones for our dog... which he buried around the property in the woods... we will definently be reserving this home for next year as well! As a side note, might mention that once the pavement ends follow the road to the very end and there's the camp!! Thanks again!!

Away from the rat race

Remote location and very secluded. Nice if you want to get off the grid and hike or do other outdoor activities. Kids enjoyed the trip. Very clean and well-kept, as well. Overall, would recommend.

Very quiet and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We have a family of 5 with 3 small children. Our family always liked the privacy and the quietness of a place. This home was perfect for us. Very deep in a small town Denmark, ME. We liked the sound of bird noise in the morning and crickets at night. House is clean and well maintained. Kevin the owner and his wife was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who are looking to get away from the city life and enjoy the nature.
