Delft Haven is beautifully situated and very charming. Great access to the beach and a stones throw from the National Park and its wonderful cycleways and dunes. The cottage was very cosy and extremely handy for cocktail o'clock at The Red Inn.
Cant wait to return.
We highly recommended this lovely cottage in Delft Haven. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our weeks stay. The location is to die for and the cottage community of Delft Haven is picture perfect! Cottage was clean and comfy and we loved the outdoor shower!
Just returned from a week at Delft Haven #5 in Provincetown, Ma. The location is superb, the accommodations are top-notch, super clean, efficient, and the sunrise view is to die for with a camera in your hand. Parked the car in the space provided and walked almost everywhere. Very close to the breakwater for a challenging walk, short drive to two beautiful beaches. Friendly folks everywhere you turn, just a great place-would rent it again in a minute! The owner, Rich O'Connor, was very helpful and kind.
We are so glad we found this gem of a cottage to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was everything described in the listing. We felt so comfortable and relaxed there. We also lucked out that the weather was perfect and there were few tourists in PTown. We literally felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. The furnishings were high-end and the kitchen very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable. The best part was waking up to the sunrise and not having to leave the bed. Very easy walk into the center of town which I recommend because the roads are very narrow and there are a lot of one way streets. Also it's fun to look at all of the charming houses and cottages. Fun fact, there are houses that were relocated from Long Point, across the bay, in the 1850's and you can identify these by a blue ceramic plaque with a picture of a house on a barge with a lighthouse in the background. We learned this on our whale watching excursion, and then we had fun trying to identify these historic houses during our walks. I also recommend driving on Route 6 and checking out some of the beautiful unspoiled beaches and the Highland Point Lighthouse. You must go to Herring Cove Beach, just a short drive from the cottage and catch the sunsets. The winery in North Truro was a fun stop. There is a great sandwich, pizza, bakery and ice cream shop in Truro called Savory and Sweet Escape. We also really enjoyed talking to the wonderful locals we met while shopping. Rich the owner was very nice and welcoming which made us feel very comfortable. In closing, we highly recommend this cottage for rental. You will enjoy every minute. We have very fond memories and hope to return soon.
6 stars!!!! Highly recommend this cottage. Owner is wonderful, available and easy to work with. The cottage was very very clean, very very will maintained, beautifully decorated... Owner thought of everything...many amenities. Private and relaxing atmosphere, views are amazing, steps to the beach. Shower indoor or out. This cottage is perfect! Always love visiting PT and restaurants however this year just wanted to stay put and enjoy the cottage and its surroundings. Parking is an added bonus!
