Photos and Description of this Gatlinburg holiday cabin

5 bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, sleeps 14

Situated in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in a beautiful wooded setting, our pet friendly Cabin is ideal for your family retreat or group getaway.

Built in 2001 by one of the nation's finest log home builders, the 3100 square foot cabin comfortably accommodates 14 people and is conveniently located fewer than 5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg.

You get the best of both worlds - easy access to the commercial attractions while feeling like you're miles away from it all.

The wraparound deck is furnished with a hot tub, rocking chairs, and ceiling fans and offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest area. The space is perfect for visiting with your entire group or for quiet solemn moments alone.

Inside, the cabin is handsomely decorated and the floor plan is open and spacious, yet cozy and inviting.

We have plenty of games for everyone to play including a Pool Table and Wii.

Very Disappointing

  • 2 of 5

I just arrived home after spending Thanksgiving 2016 with my family, my parents, and my brother's family and I wanted to write this review while it was fresh in my mind. We split this cabin 3 ways so I had a vested interest in having a good experience just as much as everyone else.

This cabin gets two stars. One for the large size which is great for groups like ours (11). One for the location which is very close to downtown Gatlinburg and all the town has to offer. The good points ended there, however.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a cliff that doubles as a driveway. I'm not joking, it's very steep.

During our stay, we noted that there were no hangers in any of the closets and there was no laundry soap or dish detergent, etc. Pretty much none of the basics. The cabin was also excessively dirty. Stains on old, worn carpet. Dried urine on the backs of the toilets. Dirt and grime all over, so much so that the first thing my sister in law told my wife after not seeing her for two year was "don't take off your shoes." The cleaning person is very obviously not doing their job. When we brought this up to the owner during our stay, he suggested that the cabin was maliciously damaged / dirtied by the previous guest. However, the level of dirtiness and where the dirt was would suggest otherwise... such as the black edges of the carpet where each stair meets the wall. This cabin is in serious need of a top to bottom deep clean. The owner offered to have the cleaner come over during our stay and "spot clean," which we declined since it would not have at all helped and all our stuff was in the property at this point. After the owner offered this and we responded telling him that would not be adequate, we did not hear from him again until just before checkout this morning when he offered an additional day for free (why in the world would we want that?).

All of the furniture in the house is old and carries a lot of damage. It honestly looks like yard sale furniture. Every bed in the house is VERY firm... and concave (at least ours and my brothers was). With the affordability and availability of so many great mattresses online, there is no excuse for substandard bedding. There are numerous outlets that do not work.

This home could really benefit from some pride of ownership. If the owners are managing from out of town, I would say a visit to the property is warranted. We will come to Gatlinburg again, we will definitely not be staying here.

Great stay at this house

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice house that is well stocked and has very large rooms throughout. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. The game rooms with a pool table and air hockey are in good condition and add to the stay. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the Gatlinburg area.

Nice Cabin

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was clean and big enough for our group of 13 people. hot tub was good, the bed rooms were spacious and kitchen was decent.

There is no view of the mountains though, but since our trip was for only 2 nights all that did not matter. Coming out of parking is a bit tricky with a loaded 2 wheel drive car but still doable. I would recommend adding more entertainment stuff to the cabin like board games, and video games, what they had there was pretty much unusable except for the pool table. the grill also let me down a bit since it was the regular portable one. Also would recommend to add a small sign board to the cabin near the street so it becomes easy to identify the cabin after dark. Accessibility to attraction was good just 2 miles away from everything. Overall we had a nice time with friends and for that price it was good enough.

Awesome Place!

  • 5 of 5

It is a Great and well stocked Cabin. We were 8 plus 2 kids and this was big enough for all of us. Yes the driveway is steep but we had no issues to park our 4 cars. Owner Jeff was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you want to feel remote with everything within 5 miles.

No problems whatsoever with this Cabin. We figured out how to manipulate the driveway with no issues. Bathrooms were very clean (a pet peeve of mine) plenty of towels. My grandson who is 18 mos was with us and to our surprise there is a full size crib and two high chairs in the Cabin. We were very happy to find that . Overall our family had a wonderful time ! Owners are very reachable and helpful.

First off the cabin is gorgeous with so much charm, so nice and very clean. Big hot tub, loads of supplies, with many new items. We thank you so much. Driveway hard to turn around in but do able. We will come back!
