Dreadful start.

The property was fine once we had gained access. We sent several texts to a number, suppled by VRBO, to arrange for the property manager to let us in. NO response. We found the property. No one awaiting us. No key safe code had been sent. We tried to mobile number again and again but it was unreachable. It was now getting dark and cold. I discovered a London number for VRBO. It rang and rang and rang. My wife was then cut off after 28 minutes in hold. The chat feature was a joke. I was 285 in the queue with I thing a 185 minutes to wait! We were getting very concerned fearing we would have to spend a night in our hire car. A Good Samaritan neighbour was kind enough to help us. Her local mobile also had no luck with the number supplied by VRBO. The GS was kind enough help us find a hotel for the night. At 03:00 being unable to sleep I attempted to use the hotel's WIFI to contact the "owner" via the VRBO site. I received an apologetic message a couple of hours later with the missing key safe code. We eventually got to our villa at 09:30 the following day. We were NOT HAPPY. The remaining days of our break were pleasant save for the weather which no one can control. I will try and find an email or postal address to make sure my thoughts are read.

La casa esra muy bien y la situacion excelente. Lo unico que fallo es que no habian cubiertos ni cuchillos de cocina. Tambien, el numero de telefono de conracto era erroneo y tuve que contactar con Vrbo para que me dieran el bueno. La propietaria tampoco me contesto todas las preguntas que le hice a traves del web, un poco raro. Pero a pesar de todo, la casa esta muy bien y la situacion excelente tanto para visitar la isla como para descansar tranquilo.

Gemütliche Villa für Familie mit Kindern

Zentral gelegen nördlich Teguise Mit 2 Bädern und 3 Schlafzimmern für Familie mit Kindern sehr geeignet. Betreuung durch Vermieter problemlos über Whatsapp, auch unter Corona-Bedingungen.. Schöne Villa mit unschönen Mängeln

Schönes großzügiges Haus, gute Lage, ruhig ,spartanische Einrichtung, keine warmen Decken, keine Sonnenschirme, zum Teil nicht funktionierende Küchengeräte und kaputte Stühle. Keine Möbel für die Terrassen im ersten Stock.
