Review Garn Barn
It was a lovely rural location. It was just a bit hard to locate. Maybe a bigger sign would help? We had a few spiders, but it was miserable outside. And, it is a farm! Nice to have a lower level door to unload luggage. The stairs are very steep, but there's a lovely ramp to the lower level. We enjoyed our stay.

Cracking rural accommodation
Stayed over on a fishing break with a buddy of mine. The barn was an ideal place to stay and not too far from the river Teifi where we had arranged to go fishing. We found the barn well appointed and with stunning views. Although the fishing wasn’t a success the accommodation was great, suited our needs and the goodie basket left by Teresa our host was a lovely touch. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage in the hills
Very nice and tastefully decorated barn, spacious and well equipped kitchen, living room with two comfy leather couches and beautiful view over the hills. Bedrooms downstairs with cosy beds, two bathrooms, each with shower. Washing machine and dryer in the kitchen (it doesn't say so in the description). We had a nice stay and liked the Welsh cakes and the other groceries in the welcome package a lot. Teresa was very prompt in the communication before our stay. We didn't meet her at all while we were there which we regretted - she values the guests privacy. Unfortunately we had to use the heating (in August !!) which worked very well to fight the cold and humidity. There's sheep and peacocks on the farm which we visited every evening! Thank you for the great hospitality!

Gastvrijheid

About the host

I moved to Pembrokeshire in 2012 to escape the 'rat race'.
I come from the Arundel area of West Sussex. Although West Sussex is a beautiful area of the country, it is quite heavily populated & I decided that I would like to have more space to enjoy my middle age.
Now I spend my days trying to get the smallholding tidied up & enjoying all the things that Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion has to offer.

Why they chose this property

I spent a long time searching for the smallholding. Although there were many similar properties for sale at the time, in really lovely locations, I felt that Maes y Garn had the right balance. It is rural but not remote. There is everything you want in the village of Crymych, which can be reached on foot.

What makes this property unique

The upside down layout makes the most of the lovely views.
