A house for every season! This centennial rustic Tuscan house was completely rebuilt in 2005 fusing typical Tuscan country stile with modern interior design and amenities.
It is a private standalone property with a large garden and parking space within the property.

The house features a comfortable vine-clad patio facing a beautiful flower garden at the foot of a hill with olive trees inviting for relaxing outdoor leisure.
Inside, the house comprises two floors on 110 square meters. On the ground floor, a large kitchen with dining room and adjacent lounge invite for cooking, dining and enjoying music. The first floor comprises a well-spaced study, bathroom, and master and guest bedrooms easily sleeping 4 people.

The 4000 square meters property is located at the edge of the Natural Park Alta Merse and creates the perfect environment to enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside as well as the historical/artistic places around. Siena (15 Km) and the Chianti region are a short drive away and the beautiful Tuscan coast can be reached within 45 minutes.
A private car is highly recommended as the local bus only connects Siena and leaves infrequently.

Wieder ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir waren zum 2. Mal in diesem schönen Landhaus, diesmal bei ungewöhnlich schlechtem Wetter. Da war es besonders wichtig, dass unser Stammquartier so komfortabel und gut gelegen war. Die gedeckte Terrasse mit dem zauberhaften Garten war perfekt zum Frühstücken wie auch zum Grillen. Viele neue Ziele haben wir entdeckt, z.B. Murlo, Bagni di Petriolo und Roccatederighi. Wir können dieses Haus jedem Toskana-Freund empfehlen, vor allem uch wegen der freundlichen Betreuung durch Renza und Silvia.

In der Natur, aber keine Ruhe

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr hübsch, aber wir hatten das Gefühl, dass es leider nicht regelmässig gewartet wird. Wir hatten wirklich Ruhe erwartet, aber die stillgelegte Fabrik entpuppte sich als Zuliefer-und Produktionsstätte für Rindenmulch. Das war sehr laut, besonders morgens früh um 7.00 und dann bis 9.00/9.30 und dann am späten Nachmittag wieder. Das war wirklich störend. Darüberhinaus liegt das Haus an einer doch wider der Erwartungen an einer sehr befahrenen Strasse. Deshalb kann man eigentlich nur bei geschlossen Fenstern schlafen, aber das ist bei fehlender Klimaanlage schwierig. Der angegebene Haussstand war nicht vollständig, aber unsere Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend.

Entspannt in der Natur in der Nähe grosser Kultur

Sehr geräumiges Haus mit schöner Terrasse in kleinem Park, sehr diskret, naher Fluss sehr erholsam, für Kinder sehr geeignet,, nach Siena 15 Minuten. Angenehme Kommunikation im Vorfeld, hilfreiche Tipps. Gerne wieder!

Paradiesische Natur UND Toskana-Kultur so nah!

Diese weinumrankte Terrasse mit Blick in den wunderschönen Garten mit Vogelgesang und Bienengesumm möchte man eigentlich gar nicht verlassen. Vor allem, wo das Haus innen so komfortabel, praktisch und liebevoll eigerichtet ist. Aber natürlich locken die vielen kleinen und großen Toskana-Highlights! Unser Tipp: Montags oder Freitags 9.00- 12.00h(!!) der Kreuzgang im Nachbardorf Torri, und sich Abends vom Restaurant "Sosta di Cavaliere" mit dem Shuttle-Bus abholen lassen und ganz vorzüglich essen und trinken. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern klappte vor und während unseres Aufenthalts perfekt und sehr freundlich. Kurz gesagt: Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen. Warnung: das Haus ist ungeeignet für Leute, die Abends zu Fuß ins Städtchen möchten oder Fernseh- und Internet-Freunde. Dafür Sternenhimmel, Glühwürmchen und Musik von der Bose-Anlage.

Being scientists and nature lovers, me and my partner have been living in this house for 8 years when we were working in Siena. We have completely restructured the original ‘fienile’ to make it our home not knowing that one day we would have to leave this beautiful area.
Although we moved back to Germany for working reasons we still spend as much time as we can in our Tuscan home (which typically is between 2-3 times per year). As we do not like to leave our home alone and empty, we hope to be able to share it with nice people who will like it as well and fancy the beautiful rural and cultural surroundings.

We have chosen this property because it is located in the beautiful and quiet Natural Park Alta Merse and not far away from the entry to the main road driving north to Siena and south to the sea side which can be reached in only 45 minutes.
