Why Clay Cofer chose Wrightsville Beach
This apartment building has been in our family for many years. It is one of the few old beach houses that remains. We have remodeled a little along still keeping the charm of the 'old' beach feeling.
What makes this Studio unique
This apartment has a wonderful back outdoor setting. Table and chairs with large umbrella to keep out of sun. The area has a wooden fence for privacy. You have a wonderful view of the ocean and the area. It is located on a safe and fun street. Everyone is friendly. Just a nice, quiet, relaxing place. Approximate square footage is 275.

Long weekend away
Absolutely enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back again in the future. Fantastic location!
Perfect location for short or long stays.
While I was working in Wilmington for a month, this little studio became my home away from home. I had the great luck of arriving to find it recently and thoughtfully remodeled and sparkling clean. My husband joined me for the final 10 days of my stay, and, since we were actually "living" there (versus simply visiting or vacationing), it was a bit tight for two, but the ocean is only half-a-block away from the door, and the beach is lovely! Although you can't see the water from the apartment, if you are able to leave your windows open at night, you can hear the surf. (We were there the last month of "off-season," so, in the evening, we often had the beach to ourselves). The space is minimal but functional, and we found the queen mattress to be very comfortable. The remodeled bathroom didn't feel small at all. The new shower is very nice. as is the closet. The kitchen is adequately appointed. Only the "seating" was problematic. I would guess that most renters will spend the majority of their time outside, so it won't be an issue, but the single lounging space--the loveseat--is handsome but strangely uncomfortable. (I ended up purchasing two camp chairs that worked well, and we spent most of our "sitting" time in them.) The two stools at the kitchen counter are fine for breakfast. One half block in the opposite direction of the beach is Lumina--and a tiny oasis of Wrightsville Beach history: a few Old School bars/taverns, surf shops, and Robert's grocery store, where you can buy the basics--soap, bread, milk--but also pretty good wine and beer, fresh farm eggs, and delicious house-made chicken salad. Sharing the same building space is Adapt, which serves espresso, juice drinks, quinoa-type bowls, and the best "artisan toasts" I've had. The wildly popular Baja-Mex restaurant, bar, and coffee shop just around the corner, Tower 7, is sometimes too crowded to walk through but serves great margaritas and generous portions. Within a mile south/southwest (walk or drive) are other coffee houses (The Workshop, Sunday's Cafe), taverns/public houses (the hamburgers at Poe's are not to be missed), and high-end restaurants, some with water views. Warm weather brings out the bar crowd, but a fan/white noise app took care of any late-night noise. The owners, who live with their 3 little boys on the top floor, are friendly and helpful (and I didn't mind the pitter-patter of little feet in the morning). I had a top-notch time and fabulous experience all around!
Great beach location
Would love to stay here during beach season. Clean, bright and just steps to the dune and beach.
Enjoyed our stay.
Awesome location and cute place!
Room was old and nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean and very convenient to several good restaurants and shops as well as public beach access.
Walking LOOP-3 miles around the island for great exercise and pleasure. There is a park that has a playground, etc. The fishing pier is a short walk down the beach to try your luck at catching a fish or just observing. You can go paddle boarding with a group that meets on the sound side. Go down to the river walk and visit historic Wilmington. Battleship North Carolina is located a short drive away.
