Under-unit fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric hob top & oven/grill, toaster, Tefal Optigrill, good range of utensils, pots and chinaware.

Bedroom has very comfortable double bed, wardrobe, dressing table & wall mounted TV - bedding & bed linen supplied. Ensuite with electric shower.

Facilities shared with owners: washing machine and tumble drier; extra freezer space if required; bike storage; garden and patio with seating.

Sorry no dogs/pets and no smoking please.

Off street parking - dedicated car parking space.

Any questions whilst on holiday, seek us out next door!

Good Pub with restaurant only 15mins stroll to Llansaint.

Kidwelly has a good range of takeaways, cafes and pubs as well as a Supermarket. Ferryside also has pub and eating places.

Regrettably, the bedroom and ensuite will not accommodate a wheelchair therefore we have to ask that wheelchair users must be able to walk approximately 10 paces with a walking aid.

'Faraway' is within the boundary of our home and overlooks part of our garden, including our veggie beds. We freeze lots of our veggies and make our own jam and chutney for the family. We love the countryside views and the peace and quiet. For those lovely beach walks we don't have to travel too far either as our closest beach is only 3 minutes drive away at Ferryside. Some of our favourite places to visit are: Pembrey and the Milennium Coastal Park (10 mins drive) with miles of fabulous beach and forest walks and easy cycling! Also we love to feed the ducks at WWT Llanelli. As National Trust members we make full use of our membership to visit Dinefwr and Colby Gardens in particular. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales are also only 20 minutes drive and we often go walking there.

'Faraway' has floor to ceiling windows allowing you to sit back and enjoy the view. We love this area which is mid-way between Carmarthen and Llanelli. You can easily reach lots of lovely places for walks and picnics or cycling and there are local pubs and different cuisines to choose from. Even Tenby is only approx. 35 minutes drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

Peace and quiet and very close to the sea for those lovely shore walks - but you can be in a town in 15 minutes and a city in 35 minutes - making the cinema, theatre, leisure centre, ten pin bowling or shopping trips all very accessible.

Superb, first class accommodation - a hidden gem!

'Faraway' is five star in every respect. We have already booked to return. Nicely appointed in a private location with extensive views over the rural countryside. Well designed, with quality fittings, extremely well equipped, and comfortable. Everything is there that you could possibly want, thanks to the thoughtful owners.

The coast and beach are just a five minute drive away, with ease of parking and the opportunity to take the train to Carmarthen or Swansea for scenic views of the sea. Places to eat in Ferryside and Llansaint too. Lots to do and see in this historic area.

Quiet break

A little gem in the middle of beautiful, tranquil Welsh countryside. Everything about "Faraway " was perfect. The accommodation is of such a high standard. A lot of thought has gone into every little detail. The photographs do not show how wonderful this place is. THANK YOU Chris and Tracey

Peaceful with great views

Fantastic little cottage, very thoughtfully and well equipped with everything you need to make a great short break. Loved the panoramic views across the countryside.

Excellent to have somewhere safe to store our bikes.

We felt very welcomed by the owners and would definitely recommend the cottage to others looking to explore this part of Wales.

The property was very clean, modern and immaculately maintained. The location ,surrounded by fields but only 5 minutes drive from the lovely beach at Ferryside, was so quiet peaceful and relaxing. The owners , who live in the adjacent property, were friendly and welcoming and I would recommend to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We intend to return next year

It was a lovely bright and clean flat, with amazing attention to detail!

Faraway, a beautifully presented holiday let

Faraway was a pleasure to walk into, really bright & airy & very well cared for. When not out & about it was comfortable & well equipped for all our needs. We found such a lot to do in the area, including castles, beaches, weland centre at Llanelli & lots of lovely gardens. The appartment is ideal for cyclists with challenging hills, primrose-decked lanes & secure storage for bikes.

Hi! Some of our favourite places to visit are: Penclacwydd Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre (WWT Llanelli); National Botanical Gardens Wales; Colby Gardens & Dinefwr Park (National Trust); Pembrey Country Park (with its very long, blue flag, sandy beach); Ffoslas Horse Racing; BARC Pembrey Motor Racing Circuit; Carmarthen Town, especially on Market Days; Kidwelly Castle; and Millennium Coastal Park with its easy, flat walking and cycling - you can hire bikes too!

For those lazy stay-at-home days, you can't beat a nice glass of something special on your sunny balcony, watching our visiting birds - we have Woodpeckers which regularly visit the nuts!

1. You must be 18yrs or over to book. Accommodation is suitable for couples and single persons. A single parent with one child may be accommodated if the accommodation is deemed suitable by you and us - please contact to discuss before booking. 2. For bookings cancelled 55 days or less prior to check-in our cancellation charge is £35 for each night booked. You may incur additional cancellation charges from the website you have booked through - please check the website's cancellation policy. The remainder of any monies we have received will be returned to you as soon as practicable and no later than 28 days from the date we accept you cancelled your booking. 3. In the unlikely event that we cancel your booking we will refund any monies we have received. No compensation will be due to you. 4. Prices are for the property and not per person. 2 nights is the minimum stay. 14 nights is the maximum stay. 5. Wi-Fi is subject to availability of service and not guaranteed. 6. You are responsible for looking after all your belongings including your vehicle - please take care at all times and be considerate of others. 7. We do not offer insurance and you need to make your own insurance arrangements. 8. If you have any medical or disability concerns please talk to us before booking and we will advise whether 'Faraway' is suitable accommodation for you to book. 8. Arrival is from 4pm onwards and Departure is by 10am. No visitors without our prior consent. No smoking and no dogs/pets. 9. You are liable to pay for any damage caused to the property. 10. If you have a special request we shall try and accommodate your request but this is not guaranteed. 11. If you have a complaint, please tell us immediately so that we can deal with it straight away and endeavour to rectify any problem as soon as is practicable. 12. The Laws of England and Wales apply and we will not sell or pass your details to anyone else unless we are required to do so by the Police/Law.
