Cozy Cabin
Walking into the cabin on the first day of our stay was a breath of fresh air. It was so clean and all the ceiling fans were going so air was circulating. Things I loved the most: water pressure in master bath was great! Plus it had 2 shower heads and hot water from both. I love hot, hot showers! The towels were big and fluffy. Loved that! I streamed our YouTube on the tv to watch something at night. Just make sure your WiFi is connected and you’ll be able to extend it just fine. If I ever had a question, the owner was quick to answer and incredibly gracious. Our first Vbro experience was a great one! We loved the hot tub and air hockey table. We used both a lot. I loved that the cabin was a couple miles off the Gatlinburg Main Street but not too far away. We loved getting donuts at Mad Dog Creamery. It wasn’t too far from the cabin, maybe 10 min, no heavy traffic to get there. We hope to come back to the Apple Treehouse!

Overall nice stay
Overall, the cabin was as advertised. We were looking for a more private cabin, and were disappointed to see cabins on three of the four sides of the property. While it may be on over an acre of land, I feel like not quite all of the space was utilized. We didn't know the cabin had a name and had to drive up and down the road multiple times to try and find the cabin the first night. We did not see any markers stating the street number, and ended up just driving up the driveway hoping it was the right one. Our GPS took us around the backside of Pigeon Forge and to a very narrow, and unsafe road, Lower Powder Mill Road. If you book the cabin, be sure to go through the heart Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to avoid that road. The hot tub was nice and clean, but we didn't get a chance to use it for multiple reasons: the weather, and the dim lighting on the back porch. Even with the flood lights on, it was still very dark on the side porch where the hot tub was. We didn't feel comfortable sitting in it with the dim lighting. The cans that acted as the fireplace were nice, and gave the cabin a good ambience. Overall, it was a nice stay, and if the outdoor lighting was updated, we would consider staying here again. Check out was very easy, and the cabin was well stocked.

Felt like home.
This property had cozy and warm feeling. No driving up a mountain side needed to access the driveway. Very close to the Mills Park Soccer fields.

Cozy cabin and great communication
We enjoyed this cabin very much. I honestly wish we had more time to enjoy it after only staying one night. We had a small issue when we got there but the property owner was quick to communicate and get everything taken care of. We was happy with our experience. The only thing I would mention to new guest would be the hot tub has no roof over it. We thought “we’re going to get wet anyways” and hopped in but had to get out after not being in long because the rain was cold on our heads and shoulders. After getting out we almost froze trying to dry off enough to step inside. It was a hilarious moment because it was my fiancé’s first time in a hot tub and the whole time he was saying “that was the worst experience in my life I’m freezing to death”. We tried again in the morning when it wasn’t raining though and enjoyed it much more. He’s now changed his mind about the hot tub 😂😂 We loved this cabin. It was very clean and beautiful. I loved seeing there was toys and games. We plan to come back but with our daughter.

I want all of my guest to enjoy their stay at The Apple Treehouse. I won't solicit reviews from you because your stay is a vacation! I do appreciate any reviews left but most of all I want your stay to be hassle free, relaxing and fun!
August 2015 we have made upgrades of a 40 inch flat screen and upgrades in bedding. The yard is also in a constant state of improvements. I love to work on the yard in my mountain get away!

Why they chose this property

My husband and I decided on The Apple Tree House after a long search for the perfect property. We bought it at the end of 2005 and still spend lots of time enjoying our mountain get-away. We all love hiking from the property and the large front yard. We origionally wanted a 'mountain view' but decided the large yard had a great view and we were never worried about our house falling off the side of a mountain or our children falling off a deck! Plus the roads are always passable and no one gets car sick because the roads have NO hairpin turns or steep drop offs. You won't need chains for your trip and no fear of getting 'stuck' by inclement weather
