Firstly I would just like to say we loved the location, we met the owners twice who were lovely and generous with gifts for our son, and the locals (especially Simon at Haraki car hire and the lady in the shop next to him) were really welcoming and very helpful.
I am writing a review as the accommodation is not quite as advertised. It would be fine for a couple with young children but that is all. I will explain. The main bedroom is accessed by its own door from the outside. Once in the main bedroom, the second bedroom is very small (just fits a bunkbed) and is direclty off the main bedroom. There is a small en-suite also off the main bedroom. The kitchen is accessed from a separate door from the outside and has an en-suite off the kitchen. When we stayed the kitchen also had a double bed in it so there was no room to swing a cat, let alone cook. Our son (14 yrs old) slept in the kitchen double bed to give us and him privacy but this is not really ideal. The 'kitchen' only had fridge freezer and 2 hot plate rings and a sink, pretty basic. Although there is the outside kitchen this is even more basic with just a baby belling and no prep surface. If you like to self cater this is not for you. The whole feel is that of a studio and no more. As i say, fine for a couple with young children but too small and lacking facilities if there are any more of you.
The great thing is the beach is only 1 minutes walk, and the area is quiet and slightly off the tourist trail, so the surroundings are great.
Quiet, nice and lovely
Small basic bunglow with very nice outdoor areas. The terasse is covered by nice whinetrees providing plenty of shadow. The bugalows are located about 100m from the nice and lonely beach south of Haraki. 5 Minutes walk to the center of Haraki Village with a number of taverns and makets. Away from the tourist tracks, but you will find anything you need. Mr Kerry who manages everything arount the booking is there locally, provides all necessary information and is ready to help you anytime if you need it. We (2 adults +1 child) had a perfect time in Haraki and can only recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, nice and lovely holiday.
A lovely private escape
It was clean and lovely, so secluded and private, with Maseri Beach a walk away, and Haraki and Agathi beaches a short drive away. You will need a car though, so be prepared for that in advance. We especially enjoyed the outside kitchen, from oven to grill to sink and table. We grilled and ate calamari and sea bass and baked potatoes with great pleasure. Haraki village curves around the bay so cozily, we really loved being there and the fine pebble beach was beautiful and easy to walk on. Martin kindly arranged to pick us up in Afandou and offered to stop in Archangelos for supplies on the way. He also came quickly with a replacement refrigerator when the apartment one stopped working. Beware of ants, and be sure you know your way to property before it gets dark! We got on wrong dirt road in the dark and had an adventure! But passing goats and gardens and pomegranates and grapes and olives on the way to property was always fun and the castle on the hill, lit at night, was such a romantic sight. We recommend the property, Haraki, and also Simon at Haraki Car Hire!
A very pleasant holiday
Excellent very quiet and yet very close to the beautiful and very long Malona beach, with crystal clear waters, suitable for children and adults and always uncrowded. The house enjoys an exceptional wide open space, equipped with a unique and valuable structure in which there is everything you need - kitchen with oven, barbeque, table, etc.- for outdoor breakfast or a barbecue evening of meat or fish.
I found the property was clean, in good condition and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The manager of the house, Mr. Martin Kerry, has proved an excellent organizer of our arrival and permanence, always ready to respond promptly to our every need.
I highly recommend this house to a family with children or a group of friends, who can also enjoy the outdoors and who enjoy the tranquility.

Also buchten wir. (Also angeblich innerhalb einer Woche.) My brother is a plumper."
Das Haus bietet alles, was man benötigt.
The Vineyard is the perfect base for your family's holiday, with a choice of 3 of the best family beaches on Rhodes, each with their own distinctive character.
Peaceful Masari Beach is on your doorstep, and the beautiful bay of Haraki, overlooked by Pheraklos Castle is only a 5 minute walk away. Here, you will find a selection of friendly, family run tavernas, restaurants and tourist shops / mini-markets.
The golden sands of Agathi Beach are just a 5 minute drive. The safe, shallow waters here make it the perfect beach for younger children, and there are water sports and great snorkelling for bigger kids ! There are also 3 reasonably priced beach tavernas, toilets, showers and changing booths. The ancient capital of Lindos and stunning St.Pauls Bay are only 10 minutes drive. Half way up the eastern coast, Malona is the perfect base from which to explore the whole island. Nothing is more than 1 hour away.
Less than 60 minutes in the car will find you exploring the Byzantine wonders of Rhodes Old Town in the north, or wine-tasting on the slopes of Mount Attaviros, or marvelling at the skill of the world's best kite-surfers who come from all over the world to catch the waves at beautiful Prassonisi. Also ideal as a base for hiking or cycling, a five min walk will see you spotting honey buzzards on a quiet mountain road, or scrumping oranges as you wander through the old farm tracks.
Haraki has a choice of a dozen good restaurants, 3 small bars, and 4 mini markets. The neighbouring villages of Malona and Masari have an English speaking pharmacist, and a post-office, excellent local butcher and 2 medium size supermarkets.
Golf: Afandou Golf Course is approximately 15 km north of the village just off the main road. The fairways can be a little on the brown side at high season, but the greens are kept reasonably green. Not exactly St Andrews, but if you can't go a week without a round, it's there. And yes, it does have a nineteenth hole !
