About the host
Hosted by Christina Lane
We are a professional couple who moved to France with a young family to enjoy the French way of life. We have spent 11 happy years here in this beautiful property. We have 2 teenage daughters (20 & 18) and a young French born son (11). We are still learning everyday and enjoying the culture this area has to offer and look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful region.
Why they chose this property
Historic property in a 14th century Bastide town. Originally built for a famous Parisian Artist in the early 1800's, the house has wonderful 4 metre high ceilings with original plaster work, marble fireplaces and a "Scarlet O'Hara" staircase.
The house has been renovated with a beautiful hand made kitchen.a large heated pool and a huge covered terrace.
It has a garden of nearly 2000sq metres, unheard of for a Bastide house, and is barely overlooked for almost complete privacy.
The town, despite its size, has the amenities and services of a town 4 times its size and it is very safe. With so much going on in the town during the summer it is a perfect place to holiday with your family.

What makes this property unique
The property is extremely spacious, 660 sq metres of living space. Lovely and cool in the hot summer. We have had over 20 people staying in the house at any one time, but you still get lost in it!. It never feels too large as this property has a very special ambience, often commented upon by our guests, some even asking if they can buy it!.
Perfectly located within the bastide with a cafe bar & boulangerie across the road and supermarket within 2 minutes walk.
Perfect for teenagers to explore or families to go to the one of many restaurants in the town.
