Following a few (very hot!) weeks of decorating & renovating, our beautiful penthouse apartment with roof top solarium is available for rent & we can’t wait for you to come & enjoy it! Having visited the area ourselves for over 12 years & fallen in love with everything it has to offer from the quaint Old-Town to the bustling plaza & beach dotted with the wooden hut chiringuito’s, we have taken the time to create a gorgeous holiday, yet homely, living space ensuring you have everything you need to hand to relax & enjoy your time in Los Alcazares!

We are always on-hand to offer advice or help any way we can. You will also be sent a comprehensive visitors guide upon booking which will provide you with everything you may need.

Our corner penthouse is located on the El Divino gated community. The apartment is quiet, private & all of the outdoor living areas offer spectacular views to the mountains & over the Mar Menor towards La Manga.

The grounds & 2 large swimming pool areas of El Divino are constantly tended to and always colourful & immaculate. Whilst very easily accessed by taxi or private pick up from Murcia airport (around a 10 minute journey), parking on the road in front of the apartments is plentiful for visitors who do wish to hire a car. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk and the Plaza can be reached in just 5.

As you walk into the apartment you are greeted with light, fresh, clean colours throughout and furnishing of a high standard offering comfortable, relaxing living spaces for up to 6 people. We have complimentary high speed WIFI throughout. New Samsung air-conditioning units are installed in all rooms in addition to ceiling fans. NOTE: air-conditioning/heaters are payable locally due to the high running costs. We do offer €10 per week complimentary for stays UNDER 3 weeks, for longer stays we can discuss on booking.

The lounge area has a L-shaped chaise lounge sofa with comfy cushions & throws that also converts easily into a spacious double bed settee (with ample room for 2 adults). The lounge also has a flat screen TV with all UK satellite channels as well as some characterful artwork. There is a dining table for those who prefer to eat indoors.

To the left of the lounge is the open plan kitchen with everything you would need to provide for up to 6 people including a microwave, washing machine, Bosch hob & oven, together with all the appliances/utensils you could possibly need.

Patio doors lead from the lounge onto a well presented covered, spacious balcony with a patio table ideal for breakfast or drinks while enjoying the views. From here you can take the stairs to the very large roof solarium, this space is fantastic & offers panoramic views. The solarium is also fitted with wall lights. There is a large awning (toldos) to offer shade from the sun, a beautiful rattan dining table with 6 chairs, 4 sun beds & 2 occasional tables, one of which is a cool box. We highly recommend spending an evening dining up here with a glass of wine!

The master double bedroom has a Juliette door leading onto the balcony, a dressing table area with mirror, built in wardrobe with plenty of storage space & hangers & also a safety deposit box.

The twin bedroom has a large window offering plenty of light, spacious built in wardrobes and a long length mirror & stool for dressing.

Both bathrooms in the property are stunning, brand new & fully tiled with under sink storage, mirrors & rain showers with thermostatic control (one has a shower cubicle & one a bath). Bath and pool towels are provided. We also provide additional sunbeds & chairs that you can take to the beach/pool.

Why Emma Silvester chose Cartagena - Mar Menor

I fell in love with Los Alcazares and this property for many reasons, I feel the area has something to offer everyone.. Location is everything and being so close to the airport, beach, restaurants and bars it ticks a lot of boxes. A few minutes away you have the Plaza which offers a vast collection of restaurants and bars offering a great selection of cuisines.. We also spend a lot of our time down the 'old town' of Los Alcazares which offers so many excellent Spanish food options at superb prices.. It is great to have both options. Walking along the Mar Menor you find lots of little wooden huts (Chiringuitos) serving lovely tapas etc.. What is there not to love?

Having this on the doorstep made us decide to buy on El Divino as the location was perfect. We viewed many different penthouse options and this was by far the best in our opinion - stunning views from our large private solarium & balcony whilst only being a minute from 2 lovely large swimming pools. El Divino is beautifully maintained and a safe gated environment for young families..

What makes this apartment unique

Hopefully you will see when you arrive we have made some lovely changes to the property including 2 beautiful modern bathrooms with rainfall showers...Furnished beautifully throughout... We have made our solarium a place to enjoy time as a family whilst watching the lovely sunsets (possibly with a vino in hand!) As a family we have made the apartment a real home from home everyone can enjoy with all the home comforts you would desire (WIFI, UK TV, Air Con..)

  • We have just had 2 new modern bathrooms added to our apartment, I think you will agree they are very special indeed. 1 has a bath and one offers a shower cubicle, both with rainfall showers. We have added modern sinks offering plenty storage space for all your toiletries etc..

  • We have 2 bedrooms and a large sofa bed in the lounge: Bedroom 1: Has a double bed, plenty storage, hair dryer and a great 'getting ready' dressing table with mirror! Bedroom 2: Has 2 single beds however on request we can push them together and make them up for you as a double. (They do not zip lock together). Again excellent storage space, long length mirror and 2 sets of draws. Sofa Bed - We have a brand new double sofa bed that can easily sleep 2 people in the lounge.

Beautiful penthouse!

We stayed at this apartment for three weeks in July. This was our second time staying in this penthouse and we were certainly not disappointed!

The little extras added this year, like the shower and the outside lightening were a welcome bonus and added to the rooftop terrace which we used daily.

We loved our stay so much that we've booked again for next year. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Beautiful sunsets from the fab roof terrace

Apartment is fab, better than expected with everything you could need to enjoy your holiday. We loved the rooftop terrace & spent most of our time sitting up there eating or watching amazing sunsets with a glass of wine. Weather was particularly hot during our stay so the AC was a godsend. Would highly recommend this apartment, Emma is very responsive & helpful too.

Another fantastic two weeks 😀👓🍷🍹🍺

This was our second visit to this apartment. We stayed again for two weeks. We were met again by debs who picked us up promptly from airport. Only ten mins journey from murcia. As in my last review last year the apartment has been well thought about to cater for everyone. Fully furnished spotlessly clean. Plenty of room. The sun terrace is perfect and has sunbeds to laze on. Also ice chiller and shower for you to use shud u get hot after sunbathing. Perfecto 😀🍹 fully fitted kitchen downstairs with cooker hob micro and washing machine. Lounge is decorated beautifully for that fully relaxed feel. Twin beds in one bedroom. Double in the other with plenty hanging space. Two bathrooms with rainfall showers. The apartment is in a great location. Ten mins stroll either way to beach bars or shops. It is well worth having a stroll down the old town whilst you r there. If not a stroll u can take the little train which runs every half hr. The square comes to life at nights with its lovely restaurants whether it b english. Indian chinese etc. Once again ray and emma. Full credit to u both. Holuday was amazing once again. Property is even better than the photographs and description.

My wife and I are just back after spending two great weeks at the apartment. it is situated close enough to the town's amenities but with a lovely rural outlook.

The apartment's amenities are spot on. In particular the huge solarium had loads of space and shade, comfortable sun beds and a great large table and chairs set. The sofa and beds are also very comfortable which together with the fans and air conditioning allowed us to sleep very well, even although the temperature was well into the thirties.

Los Alcazares is a lovely resort only about 5 minutes drive from San Javier Airport. It is also still has a very Spanish feel.

We are already speaking to Emma about booking for next year.

Holiday in May

Stayed in this lovely apartment for a week as we knew the area very well. It was 5 mins walk from major supermarkets and restaurants and just a little further to the lovely beach. The apartment itself was absolutely lovely. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, right down to the little touches like tissues, toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc. The roof top terrace was amazing and very spacious, and when it gets too hot theres another terrace to sit on in the shade where you see fantastic sunsets. Loved this place so will hopefully book for next year. Emma the owner was very easy to contact before, during and after our holiday.

Perfect home from home with the beach nearby!

Apartment well equipped with everything you need. Roof top terrace gorgeous view and well furnished. Location ideal, so handy to the main square and beach. Beautiful pool area. All very clean and well maintained. All in all a greal holiday getaway. By the way, lovely sunset over the mountain every evening.
