Very Nice Home With Great Amenities
This three-bedroom home is very comfortable & clean for a family or group of friends. Comfortable beds and an open kitchen/dining/living room space can accommodate six people easily. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
A couple of things to consider:
When we read the description of the place, we were under the impression that each bedroom had its own separate bathroom, however only the large master bedroom has an attached bathroom. There is a bathroom in the hallway outside a second bedroom. The third bedroom can share that bathroom or use the one in the basement -- not quite as nice as having your own private bathroom and if you are friends sharing the house, it's hard to divide up the bedrooms equitably.
Guests are asked to wash and dry their sheets and towels before leaving. We were concerned that this might be impossible since we needed to leave early in the day. Also, we thought it was asking a lot when we were paying well for staying in the house. I was concerned about having my $500 security returned if we didn't comply with this request. However, after talking to the agent for the house, we were told to "do the best that we could." We ended up washing, drying and folding most, but had to leave some in the dryer and washer. As of this date (we left just four days ago), we have not received our security deposit back, but we were told it would take about a week.
All in all, this is a very attractive and comfortable "home away from home" and the owners left us a bottle of champagne -- a nice welcoming touch!
We really appreciate your comments and just as important, the fact that you had an enjoyable stay.
Ogunquit Rental Properties
Really lovely home in a great location.
The house was very spacious and included everything you could wish for. It is approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and would advise using the beach trolley provided. Marginal Way walk is recommended to Perkins Cove which is a lovely place. We also went on a boat cruise from there which was very pleasant. Overall the house was super and Ogunquit quite lovely.
My husband and I enjoyed the condo, felt very comfortable and loved being in walking distance to everything. I loved that that the condo provided beach towels and chairs, what I do recommend is better pillows for the beds and some fans for the bedrooms.
Thank you. This is excellent feed back.
Please know for the future that at Ogunquit Rental Properties, we want to be notified during your stay if there is something we can reasonably provide to make your visit more comfortable.
Wonderful comfortable place and great location!
We have been coming to Maine for several years and for the last 5+ years we have been staying here. The condo is very well maintained and the owners update and/or replace items that need be. Last year a 3rd full bathroom was added which was such a nice addition! The location is perfect, a quick walk to town and beautiful Ogunquit Beach. At the end of a great beach day we love to come back and relax some more with our cocktails and appetizers in the nice and quiet screened in porch out back. The condo is very spacious and the decor is lovely--what more is there to say!

HI Mary - thank you so much for your wonderful review. It is our pleasure to have your return year after year.
Small town packed with goodies! Pottery and jewelry shops, restaurants, and a long sandy beach bordered by sand dunes and the Ogunquit River, suitable for fishing, kayaking, water rafting, snorkeling and a variety of water sports as well as simply relaxing on the sandy shores of Ogunquit Beach. The harbor area is where the scenic footpath, Marginal Way, begins and ends. It will take you along the rocky coast from the harbor to the center of town. The views are breathtaking and memory making. L.L. Bean's is within a day's adventure as are the museums of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Portland, Maine l - Much to do and see in Southern Maine.
