Not Safe for Children
Extremely disappointed in this stay. Two really unsafe aspects to this property for young kids: The stairs leading up to two bedrooms has a railing with spindles that are so wide that our 2 YO and 4 YO were pointing out within minutes that they could fit through them. A big problem since the stairs are easily accessible to kids and the most likely kid bedroom is upstairs as well. Our two girls could have come out of their bedroom in the dark, walked straight forward and fallen through the middle of two spindles without even turning sideways. There is a hard tile floor below.
When the property management company called the owner, they said they didn't want them altered in any way to be safe.
Also, there is a porch that appears to have glass windows in the photos, but they are really soft plastic and screens. There were multiple holes in both, making the porch completely unusable for any kids who are inclined to lean or push against walls and windows.
Beyond this, there was quite a bit of found on floors (bathroom and next to/underneath two beds). Cleaning service looks like they were overly rushed.
The upside to this whole situation was that the property management company (North Beach Realty) was very helpful and understanding. They moved us to another property same day that was a much better fit for our family.
