Very nicely presented and prepared
A well located well presented cottage excellent for 2 people but very tight for 2 couples. The beds were adequate but the closeness of the main road is annoying. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent and the neighbours very friendly.

Lovely cottage
Beautiful well provisioned cottage. Hamper of goodies kindly left for us. Only downside was proximity to busy road so traffic noise was a little disturbing.

Lovely cottage
We had a great short stay at Lavender Cottage. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Gail was easy to contact and replied to queries promptly. We wouldn’t hesitate in booking again. Thank you ☺️

Why they chose this property

This house is available for the first time as a private dwelling being formerly part of the famous Harewood Estate, owned by the Earl and Countess Lascelles of Harewood , the Queen's cousin. It was built in 1750 designed by John Carr for the workers on the Harewood Estate. It is a very quaint cottage surrounded by similar properties and has enviable views across the Wharfe Valley at the front.
