Filthy and in disrepair. We were without a toilet for 12 hours while various people worked on it. We were told not to flush TP as this caused the clog. I tried plunging myself but quit when waste water surged up into the shower. We were told not to touch the thermostat as it served 2 other units in the building. NEVER can one thermostat provide comfort for 3 separate units. We were also told by David that his "Small family business" has served 55K guests and never has 1 complained they needed heat. Overnight, outdoor temps were 52 deg and the terrible HVAC system was sucking in outside air with such force that the bedroom drapes were billowing in so temps INSIDE were 66 degrees-hardly sufficient for my elderly 100lb mother. Another guest said, "Look at me! I am wearing two sweatshirts and sweatpants!" My wife is freezing too and we have already complained." They were from MA-40 miles from us in CT...and all of us New Englanders were freezing. David told us to buy space heaters on our VISA, use them for our 3 week stay, and he'd return them for us after we left. The heaters popped a breaker in the wee hours of Fri AM. We had no access to breaker panel. We had no power til Mon at 10AM. In general, the place was a filthy dump. The "beautiful patio" had moldy, ripped cushions, 2 empty LP tanks for the grill, counters falling apart. The entry lite fixtures didn't work and had to be replaced. Windows that dont stay open, dirt, grunge everywhere you look. Broken floor tiles
