The Villa is set in 555m² of private gardens landscaped to fit Latchi’s natural surroundings. Large expanses of picture window make the most of the garden, private pool, and the unique views over land and sea beyond. You get the sort of luxury high end specifications you’d expect from modern living, including satellite TV and Nintendo Wii. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twins, each with large built in wardrobes. An en suite bathroom leads off each bedroom, 2 with showers and one with a bath and shower over. There is a large fully equipped kitchen diner with contemporary Italian fittings, which is open plan to a lounge with fireplace and 3 sofa beds overlooking the garden, pool and view to the front. The villa sits on a beautiful sunlit slope with quite stunning views across the entire Chrysochou Bay, and looks down on Latchi Harbour with its local beaches and restaurants. I walking distance just behind is the traditional village of Neo Chorio, with its local shop and tavernas. For the 230 square kilometers beyond is the most beautiful area on the island the Akamas Peninsular. A 10 minute stroll up the hill from Bay View Villa Cyprus is a maze of winding streets, traditional stone cottages… and a Co-Op! Cyprus culture is very much alive here with old ladies weaving traditional rugs and crocheting lace. Visit the Triskellion Pottery, famous for its replicas of ancient pottery and its blue jugs. At Kouppas Stone Castle Taverna you’ll find authentic local food at its best, including vegetarian options… ask Andreas for the small Meze from whatever is available in the kitchen, but a word of warning, ‘small’ is very large indeed.
Enjoy the panoramic views over the Chrysocou Bay and the Troodos Mountains as you relax by the private pool. The 3 Bed, 3 bath villa is perched on the hillside above the traditional fishing village of Latchi with its unspoilt beaches and numerous tavernas whose special fish mezes are a delight to the eye and the palate.
Latchi is situated on the unspoilt north west tip of Cyprus in the region of Paphos, between the Baths of Aphrodite and the town of Polis. Close by is the Akamas Peninsular nature reserve. Paphos town is a 30 minute drive away with numerous sites of antiquity and extensive shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
A short walk up the hill is the village of Neo Chorio with its church, 3 tavernas and coffee shops where the locals play cards and backgammon. There is a small supermarket catering for the essentials, Well stocked supermarkets with a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables are a 5 minute drive down the road in Latchi.
