About this property

Our 2 bedroom house with off street parking is the perfect getaway to relax, hunt, fish, go water-skiing, all at the Harlan County Reservoir. It will comfortably sleep 6. We are just 2 blocks from the Harlan County Reservoir, where you can play, fish, or just enjoy natures beauty of wildlife. There are abundant waterfowl and birds you can see as you walk down the nature trail just 1 block from the house. The house sits on a large corner lot, with off street parking as well as an area to park a car inside. Sit outside and enjoy smores around the outside fireplace as you enjoy the quiet and serenity of a small town. The house as been completely remodeled, and still has the original oak floors, and un-painted original woodwork. House as 2 queen beds with a hide-a-bed queen size couch. Fully furnished kitchen with a barbecue grill outside available. We do request from all guests not to smoke in the house, as a favor to all future guests.

Great house but VRBO map plots it wrong. It is in Alma, not Holdrege.

This is a wonderful, charming home. Very comfortable, just as photos show. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The weather was really rainy so I can’t say much about the lake but it seemed like it would be really nice in good weather. My only complaint is that it is 25 miles south of where the VRBO map plots it, so just factor that into your travel plans. I would definitely stay there again.

Great spot and location for fishing Harlan County!

We had a great time at this house! It was our first time visiting the area and we will be back. The house is located ideally for close access to the lake. The owner was very helpful and accessible! The lake is really neat and we only just scratched the surface of what it has to offer. We hope to be heading back here later this year!
