average rating of 4.965517 based on 29 reviews

The chalet was fabulous, with a great outlook over the small lake.

  • 5 of 5

The location of chalet was great, the surrounding areas to visit were interesting and information given in chalet was good. If the weather had been drier, it would have been perfect, but its Scotland, you just have to make the most of it, but it didn't keep us in . It was mentioned that there was a shortage of hooks to hang things up in en-suites.

FYI The master bedroom main light isn't working.

Wonderful 3 day escape!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at Na Craigean Lodge. We were close to great hikes, distilleries, castles and other activities. The house, itself, was very comfortable, well outfitted and a welcoming spot to come home to. We especially liked watching the birds coming to the feeders and the deer herd up the hill. We would love to return some day.

Very nice home with everything we could possibly need. Lake & heather covered mountains.

  • 5 of 5

Many thanks to the homeowners for allowing us to use their vacation home overlooking a small lake and a field of Red Stag deer at the base of absolutely beautiful heather covered mountains. We especially enjoyed our visit to Kenmore and its nearby Taymouth Castle and the Crannog Center. Castle Menzies is also nearby with amazing information about our own Pacific Northwest Douglas fir trees. In Pitlochry a visit to Heather Gems was amazing and Blair Atholl Castle and grounds are nearby. If you need to discover some of Scotland's scotch; Dewars, Bells, and The Famous Grouse are all nearby.

Be sure to visit the Italian restaurant in Aberfeldy and tell Kailish "hi" from Dave in Oregon. :-)
