1740's home with lots of character

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed the pastries and coffee at the stand next door. Great area for walking running or biking. Home lacking in modern amenities but makes up for it with character.

Large homey farmhouse with authentic charm and beautiful surrounding property. Loved it!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our time in Little Compton was beyond all expectations! Cole, the host, welcomed us, pointing out amazing walks and swimming spots. The kitchen is so well-equipped, we were able to throw a barbecue extraordinaire for our big extended family - truly a day to remember at this incredible old farmhouse! All the beds were so comfortable, the bedrooms tastefully arranged. Lots of seating. An amazing place to remember always!

Charming slice of history and a farm stand to boot!

  • 5 of 5

We love Little Compton and we loved this house when we visited Columbus Day weekend. The neighboring farms featured apple picking, hayrides, and massive pumpkins for sale. This is a wonderful old house with all the things you can either love or tolerate in an old place. The beds are fully up to date and comfy and so is all the living room furniture. It is well situated next to the owner's wonderful farm stand from which we purchased a dozen unusual pumpkins, great produce, food stuffs and flowers. The stand stays open into mid November. The stairs to the master bedroom might be daunting to some, but there are bedrooms downstairs as well. Travel into town to the Art Cafe for great espresso drinks and ambiance. Be sure to visit Goosewing Preserve off Town Beach, regardless of the season: it is one of the most pristine beaches in the entire country. If it rains while you are there, hop in the car and go to New Bedford Massachusetts to the Whaling Museum, which is a treasure.

Great house and location

We were a group of 8 in town for a wedding. This house was perfect for us. Great location, lots of charm and loved the farm stand next door. Close by to sites of Little Compton and access to the beach was a bonus!

Rustic, cozy charm

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here, we felt very taken care of by the hosts (and yet left alone at the same time, just right!). The beds were very firm and comfortable and everything was very clean. They had fresh fruits, veggies, decorative gourds and flowers from the stand next door waiting for us, which was a very nice touch. The house is very old, and is inherently a little "wonky"...I was scared the beautiful clawfoot tub might fall through the floor and we definitely bumped our heads on the low ceilings in places. But if you are like us and don't care as much about amenities and would rather have "an experience" then I highly recommend this home.
