The villa has wireless internet connection. The kitchen features a dining table and 6 chairs, integrated dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and 4 ring hob and large American-style fridge freezer with ice maker. The ground floor hosts the first bedroom of this villa which is a twin bedroom and has the luxury of an en-suite bathroom. Adjacent is a separate WC.

The staircase leads to the first floor where you will find a large, airy landing with utility area with sink and a single bed suitable for 1 child. French doors open out onto the vast upper terrace, which looks over the pool and the orange groves beyond and down to the sea.

2 further double bedrooms are located on the first floor, both with small private balconies, and both with en-suite full bathrooms, one having jacuzzi whirlpool bath. All 3 bedrooms have air-conditioning (for cooling or heating), which is included in the price. Additional units are available in the kitchen and in the lounge for a small supplement payable locally (see rental rates).

A baby cot and highchair can be provided on request.

A washing machine and clothes dryer can be found in a utility room on the outdoor grounds.

Outside, extensive patios and sunbathing areas border the unusually large 14 metre private swimming pool which has a small waterfall feature at the shallow end. For an added touch of luxury an outdoor jacuzzi hot tub is available (see rental rates). A poolside shower and 5 upholstered wooden sunbeds and a bench are provided. For you to experience the true joy of al fresco dining a large table with chairs are provided. To the side are lawned areas and colourful gardens.

Adjacent to the pool area, on a lower level, you will find a sauna room with seating for up to 3 guests.

A similar villa is neighboring this property, which is also available for rental should a large family group wish to travel together (please search for Villa 485). However, each villa is surrounded by stone walls topped with trellis fencing to maximize the privacy of each property.

The grounds on which both villas are located offer extensive common outdoor area where all guests can enjoy the use of a large outdoor bar (adjacent WC), barbecue and children's playground.

Map

Argaka is located on the coastal plains of the Chrysochous area away from the more mainstream destinations. Nourished by its own reservoir this agricultural area is well known for its abundance of citrus orchards The settlement of Argaka itself is divided into two parts, Pano Argaka (upper) located between the sea and the pine forest is the older of the two communities. Here, traditional style architecture can be found amongst the narrow, winding roads and the traditional spirit of Cyprus is still very much in evidence at the local kafenion which provides a focal point for the village's residents to gather, exchange news and pass the time of day. Kato Argaka (lower) is the newer settlement standing next to the sea. Although this area features more contemporary style residences, a small supermarket, a kiosk and a handful of tavernas dotted along the coastal road, the atmosphere is still very laidback. A small shop offering basic provisions is within 800 metres of the villa and a small café/coffee house offering snacks and a couple of restaurants are within 1.5 kilometres of the villa.

The undeveloped beaches of the Argaka area stretch along a natural coastline of coarse sand, shingle and pebble. For a day here you will need to bring your own beach mat and umbrella. Refreshments can be found at one of the tavernas scattered along the coastal road or you can take a cool box and lunch under the shade of the trees in one of the designated picnic areas.

Polis is the principal town for the region, huddled around a pedestrianised square where visitors and locals gather in the mornings to enjoy a coffee and watch the world pass by and in the evenings to dine at one of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre. The town has an archaeological museum and cultural centre. Polis which is approximately 10 minutes drive away offers the nearest organized beach to the villas backed by tall Eucalyptus trees.

A little further along the coast from Polis is the seaside resort of Latchi with its recently opened 200 berth marina. Here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily. Just beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for nature lovers the protected Akamas Peninsular an area particular suited to walkers and adventurers who can explore the many criss-crossed nature trails. The coastline of this area can also be enjoyed by boat with daily excursions available from the marina.

Polis and the surrounding villages count bowling, go-karting, fishing, cycling, watersports and scuba diving amongst the many activities on offer to the visitor. The Minthis Hills Golf Course is approximately a 40 minute drive away. The town of Paphos with its World Heritage Sites, modern shopping facilities, waterpark, Paphos Zoo and attractive harbour area is within a 50 minute drive.

There are 4 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course, all within approximately a 40 minute to 1 hour drive.
