About this property

Very spacious vacation rental (3,100 sq ft) with room to spread out. Outdoor hot tub (which we keep running year round) with a view of the lake. Relax on the large deck while taking in the beautiful views of the lake. Private dock and several watercraft at your disposal (kayaks, canoes, row boat, paddle boat). Pool table, poker table, board games, puzzles, books, toys and movies and outdoor gas grill and charcoal grill, and fire pit at your disposal.
Maximum of 12 people can stay in the house--includes children & babies and guests (even if they are only visiting for the day), that is all part of the 12. You also cannot "switch out" guests, for example, having some guests come during part of your stay--making the total 12, then leave and then other guests arrive, making the total 12.
Located on a quiet cul de sac but not far from all of the amenities that the Big Bass Lake community has to offer. Linens are not included. You may bring your own sheets and towels or you may purchase the linen package for $230. It includes sheets, pillow cases, towels for the bathroom, kitchen, hot tub and pools. If you would like to purchase the linens package, you must inform the owner so it can be arranged with the linen service. We have loads of comforters, blankets and pillows for you to use at the house. Big Bass Lake community offers indoor and outdoor pools, beaches, fitness center, tennis courts, pickleball, playgrounds, clubhouse, small ski hill, ice skating and snow tubing...all in a pristine, family friendly environment. Other nearby attractions include Gouldsboro and Tobyhanna State Parks (boating, fishing, hiking and swimming), Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge indoor waterparks, Montage Mountain, Camelback Mountain and Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski resorts and The Crossings Premium Outlets with spectacular shopping (and a Tesla Supercharger station).
PURCHASE OF AMENITY PASSES IS REQUIRED to use the Community amenities. Daily pass: weekday $8/ weekend or holiday $10 per day/per person; Week pass (nonholiday) $30 / Holiday week $50/per week/per person. There is NO air conditioning. We have stand up and/or ceiling fans in every room.

Perfect For Large Families

The house was amazing with everything needed for a comfortable stay including Uggs comforters! Was beautiful in the wintertime. Can only imagine how nicw it is when the weather is warm. Kid-friendly and a few amenities to upgrade the experience. Owner was extremely accessible and communicative and patient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A lake house for all to enjoy

House with large deck overlooking lake. Quiet and beautiful setting. The community’s activities of ping pong, Pickleball, basketball, tennis and large pool were all top notch. Linen plan supplied more towels than one would ever use. No need to bring detergents or foil/baggies,coffee filters,etc. Home’s manager was most responsive to all questions. Enjoyed many hours of pool at house as well as kayaking. We were a family group ages 16 - 80. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wonderful hot tub! FYI - we ventured out one day to Gouldsboro state park and found a gorgeous lake beach which is free.

Very nice

Was a nice big house for 3 couples and 4 kids. Michele was very responsive to any questions or issues. Pond is pretty shallow but was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. Kids went swimming but adults did not. Screened in porch was a bonus as it rained every day.

Welcome to 9 Birch Point in Big Bass Lake. My name is Michele and my husband Mark and I recently purchased this fabulous property. We have lived in the Lehigh Valley, PA for 30+ years. We love the outdoors and being close to nature and it is our pleasure to provide you with the perfect venue to create wonderful memories with your family and friends.

Why they chose this property

Located in the gold star community of Big Bass Lake which includes so many amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball, beach, swimming, boating, fishing, fitness center, playground, ice skating, snow tubing and clubhouse), there's plenty to do at the house: kayaking, canoeing, paddle boat, board games, poker table, movies or just grilling and relaxing on the deck and taking in the fabulous view of the lake. Or maybe you would like to unwind in the outdoor hot tub, which also has a view of the lake. We also have a fire pit that you can gather around and make s'mores. Plenty to do for everyone and loads of nearby State Parks for hiking and walking. This property has all the room and amenities you need and it's lakefront! TO USE THE COMMUNITY AMENITIES, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE AMENITY PASSES. They are priced as follows: Age 7 and above, Daily Pass: weekday $8/ weekend or holiday, $10 per person/per day; Week Pass (nonholiday) $30/ holiday week $50 /per week/per person. Children under 7 are free. We are located on a quiet cul de sac and several of our neighbors are year round residents so we ask that you be respectful of their peace and quiet. Also, we cannot do last minute bookings or the Community will fine the property owner. You need to book your stay at least 4 days prior to your arrival.

What makes this property unique

Private dock with 6 water craft for you to use (we also have life jackets and oars), great fishing and we are located close to State parks, skiing, hiking, casinos, indoor water parks, and premium shopping outlets. The lake is shallow near our dock and there are some algae plants growing underwater, therefore, the best swimming would either be at the beaches, outdoor pool or indoor pool.
