There are two bedrooms, one with an en-suite, along with a separate shower room, meaning up to four people can enjoy a fantastic holiday here. There's also a sociable open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with open fire. Outside, there is off road parking for three cars along with lockable bike storage and a front lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. Holmfoot Cottage sits near the River Liddel Water, which cuts the border with England, and offers a wonderful touring base.

Town: The historic village of Canonbie lies just over the border into Scotland, close to the town of Gretna. Canonbie lies on the River Esk, renowned for its salmon and sea trout fishing, and was immortalised in Walter Scott's poem 'Marmion' chronicling the exploits of Young Lochinvar. The area offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with attractive coastal landscapes, rural walking and fishing.
