Disgusting bedding not fit for animals
We loved the cottage and the setting. My husband became ill on day two. We left the cottage two days early so he could go home to see a doctor. On stripping the beds we saw the unhealthy state of the pillows and duvets. They were dirty, stained, ripped and matted. We understand they have all been replaced but that does not make things better for us. We have been offered a very small goodwill gesture from the owner which goes no way to making up for our holiday being cut short and my husbands illness. It was such a shame as we loved the cottage. The bathroom was downstairs which we hadn't realised and the bathroom was not particularly clean. It was also the first time we had stayed in a cottage where we had not been left as much as a pint of milk.
