Our lovingly-built villa, Casa Gianni, is situated on its own extensive site surrounded by olive trees and with a 10mx5m private swimming pool. It overlooks the little village of Macchie and is ten minutes drive from the bustling, historical town of Amelia. The villa has an outside shaded terrace beside the pool but also plenty of room for sunbathing and sun lounging around the pool. The villa is large and comfortable with all modern conveniences including a well stocked supply cupboard, appliances, and, of course, two large, well-filled book cases! Restored and extended by local Umbrian artisanal builders, it is built to the highest specifications with individual touches like stunning exposed beams in most of the rooms. It has rooms with air-conditioning in summer and excellent heating in winter. The villa looks out over the village of Macchie and on south towards the town of Amelia. It is accessed down a private roadway through a small olive grove. As it is on its own land, we have plenty of parking (for up to three cars). We have three double bedrooms (two ensuite and one beside the main family bathroom) and a small baby or toddler room. With the pool and terrace we have sun loungers, a barbeque and access to a wonderful local chef who will come to the villa to cook for you and your family. Our salone or living room has an open wood-burning fire place with a back boiler to heat the house in winter.
