About this property

An appealing, comfortable family beachhouse, in the new southern end of Omaha. This house is ideally designed with two families in mind, having two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and the same downstairs. Both bathrooms are fully tiled and feature walk-in showers. Well appointed with all modern appliances including dishwasher, Broadband, Smart TV (including Freeview & Netflix), CD/DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and BBQ.

The open plan has oversized bifolds opening to decks on three sides, including a private west-facing courtyard complete with outdoor shower, furniture, and shade sail. There is a large double garage and ample extra parking for cars and boats. In winter, heating is provided by a cosy gas fire.

Omaha is perfect for bike-riding, walking, tennis, golf, fishing and of course, the beach which is just a 3 minute walk away. Along with the excellent white sand surf beach (patrolled in summer) there’s the sheltered estuary and boat ramp for all those water sports - fishing, boating, kayaking, or kitesurfing.

And close by are the superb environs of Matakana and the local vineyards, Leigh, Goat Island, Tawharanui Regional Park, and much more.
Special conditions:
Minimum 3 nights over Waitangi weekend and 4 nights over Easter. Minimum 3 nights on long weekends. Minimum 10 night stay over Christmas and New Year period. Minimum 7 night stay rest of January and early February. Smoking allowed outside only. Pillows, duvets and blankets provided. No extra guests allowed.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$100.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels/sheets/pillow slips and tea towels).

Omaha Beach stay

I’ve stayed at this property 10 years ago with family- rented for convenience to family. The fact the property didnt supply linen caused me great concern as I’d been travelling in a campervan for 6 weeks from Australia, family from Canada, & Kaka Point. Kitchen was well equipped and house very comfortable - however no sheets or towels was a huge issue- the linen/doona supplied are well worn and one had blood stains on it (bunk room)… grateful for additional blankets supplied- property walking distance to beach-and close to Matakana beach and other beautiful locations - having declared the linen issue - and speaking to other people renting properties in Omaha it appears this is quite common- would definitely recommend this property however with your own linen…

Perfect getaway

The communication was excellent and the whole process seamless. The house was perfect for our group with two beds downstairs with a bathroom and two up with a bathroom. Plenty of space and very well equipped. BUT make sure you take your own supplies. E.g. tea, coffee, extra toilet paper, tea towels etc. as this is not supplied. Great location - short drive to Matakana and easy flat walk to beach.

Beautiful bach with everything one could ask for!

Thanks so much for having us, we had a girls weekend at this lovely bach and had a great time! Communication with the owner was quick and helpful, and the bach itself is amazing, very comfortable, lovely beds, and fully equipped with beach toys and deck furniture for enjoying the outdoors! The outdoor shower was great after a swim too. We would love. To come back, it was hard to leave!!
