Shepherd House is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom Taupo holiday house a 5-minutes walk to the lake's edge.

This relaxing holiday home enjoys lake views, ample room for your group, plus an indoor geothermal pool!

This Taupo holiday home includes open plan living with a gas fire for cosy winter stays... or relax on the deck with peaceful surrounds and lake views! The fully fenced section is a great option for families, with a children's playhouse available and a sheltered BBQ area. Plus, the geothermal pool is on hand for cooler evenings, and is located in a separate pool house.

There are 5 bedrooms at this Taupo accommodation. Bedroom 1 includes an ensuite bathroom and is fitted with a queen bed. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed, bedroom 3 is fitted with 2 single beds, and bedroom 4 includes 1 single bunk set and 1 double bunk set. The 5th bedroom includes a king single bed and pull out King Single bed. ( it Also doubles as a second lounge)

In addition to the ensuite, 2 more bathrooms complete the easy holiday set up at Shepherd House.

Relax in the *geothermal pool, enjoy BBQ's in the private garden, or head out to the lake... Everything you need for a laid back family getaway is on hand.

*Geothermal hot pool is left empty, you will need to fill if you wish to use. Keep an eye on children at all times especially around the pool and ensure people do not put their heads under the water. The pool is not suitable for small children.

** This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for large groups of adults.

This is a Kiwi bach as we know and love, it is a simple and affordable privately owned home, made for families to enjoy and make lasting memories of Great Lake Taupo. For this reason there may be a level of personal belongings.
NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels)or use our hire service. If you wish to add the linen hire of $15 per person please let us know in the comments section.

This is a Kiwi bach as we know and love, it is a family home with bunk beds and has a maximum adult occupancy of 8, with the remaining 4 guests being children.

Charging of electric vehicles is not permitted as the electrical infrastructure is not available to safely do so.

Strictly no parties, a few quiet drinks are fine, but you must be respectful of the property and its neighbours.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted and are liable for any damages to the property. We have a strict no party policy (large groups, hens, stags etc.) and do not allow functions or large gatherings.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. Respect for neighbours regarding noise and cars must be considered, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund if we receive complaints.
All guests are your responsibility so please take care and parental supervision is required for all children at all times, especially around stairs, balconies, water and fires. The holiday home is not to be used as a function venue, events or activity that involve a larger number of people than stated on the maximum occupancy.
All homes are privately owned, please treat them with respect and if an incident/damage happens, report it ASAP so it can be repaired or replaced. For damages be aware that your credit card will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were on arrival. You will have paid a compulsory cleaning fee which covers a general service clean. If the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $40.00 per hour for this.
If you use a BBQ it must be left clean, if not a $40.00 fee will be charged for cleaning.
ALL rubbish must be removed from throughout the property on your departure; failure to do this will result in a minimum charge of $40.00 for labour and council disposal fees. Some homes allow up to ONE bag of rubbish to be left as part of the clean fee, specific property instructions will be at the home for you.
The property must be left secure and safe upon your departure. Please check all windows, doors and appliances including heaters, electric blankets, elements, and sockets before you leave the property.
