About this property

Marlow Grove with a Short walk to Lake, Quiet cul de sac location

Marlow Grove in popular Wharewaka Point is a short stroll to the lake edge and the local children's playground or you could take the popular Lions walk back into town.

There is a large, spacious deck that runs across the front of the house, complete with outdoor furniture and steps down to the front lawn. Access to the deck via ranch sliders from both the lounge and the master bedroom.  With a covered area off the back of the house.

There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, the Master has 1 Queen bed and the other rooms both have 2 singles in each.
One newly renovated bathroom and an additional separate toilet.

This is a classic Kiwi Bach as we know and love, it is a simple and affordable shared home, made for families to enjoy and make lasting memories of Great Lake Taupo. For this reason there may be some personal belongings.
NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels)or use our hire service. If you wish to add the linen hire of $15 per person please select this option when booking or let us know in the comments section.

Special conditions: 
This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for groups of more than 4 adults. An additional guest surcharge applies for more than 4 people.
There is off street parking for a car and boat on the driveway.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted and are liable for any damages to the property. We have a strict no party policy (large groups, hens, stags etc.) and do not allow functions or large gatherings.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. Respect for neighbours regarding noise and cars must be considered, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund if we receive complaints.
All guests are your responsibility so please take care and parental supervision is required for all children at all times, especially around stairs, balconies, water and fires. The holiday home is not to be used as a function venue, events or activity that involve a larger number of people than stated on the maximum occupancy.
All homes are privately owned, please treat them with respect and if an incident/damage happens, report it ASAP so it can be repaired or replaced. For damages be aware that your credit card will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were on arrival. You will have paid a compulsory cleaning fee which covers a general service clean. If the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $40.00 per hour for this.
If you use a BBQ it must be left clean, if not a $40.00 fee will be charged for cleaning.
ALL rubbish must be removed from throughout the property on your departure; failure to do this will result in a minimum charge of $40.00 for labour and council disposal fees. Some homes allow up to ONE bag of rubbish to be left as part of the clean fee, specific property instructions will be at the home for you.
The property must be left secure and safe upon your departure. Please check all windows, doors and appliances including heaters, electric blankets, elements, and sockets before you leave the property.

Nice quiet getaway nar Taupo
Nice comfortable quiet place to stay near Taupo within easy reach of the Town and the lake. In 2023, would benefit from internet connectivity especially if, like me, you have two bored teenagers and the weather isn't good like it was on our stay.
