Relax in a bach environment with a retro feel on the edge of Lake Taupo.
Unit provides a comfortable stay with great views of the lake and mountains.
Take the opportunity to unwind in the small sunken garden and observe the
activities of fellow holiday makers from the deck. Follow the walkway around
the lake and explore the Taupo region from this very central location. During summer hire kayaks and paddleboards across the road (weather dependent), or take in the sun while lying reading your favourite book. A great destination to unwind. Property may not be suitable for young children due to staircase to mezzanine floor.

Great stay

This property was everything that was advertised, excellent location and had everything we needed. In future I’d advice guests to leave windows closed as we had a lot of bugs get into the unit (host could leave a small message about this) Other recommendation - please provide rubbish bags Over all this was a lovely property and we really enjoyed our stay.

The unit was ok and in a very good position for shops etc.

I feel there was very poor communication from the owners, They failed to inform me that the unit was having external repairs done and the view from the unit and the lawn area in front was impaired badly by scaffolding. They also claimed in the write up that kayaks were available for hire across the road ( this was the main reason I hired this unit ) which was a lie and this also was very disappointing. The unit is well equipped but very old and could do with an upgrade in particular the stairs banister, which on a few occasions I thought was going to break. I will not be staying there again.

Perfect location for tourists to the area. The unit was clean and tidy and The whole process went smoothly without issue. Good value for the price

We noticed a poster in the bathroom & in the password name some connection to New Plymouth. We were both from NP but have not lived there for 46 years. Pity we never got to speak to you. We knew some Thomsons there. 🦋
