Downtown the Mount - Beach, harbour and shops!

A great place for couples to enjoy both the beautiful
Mount beach and vibrant downtown Mount Maunganui.
Situated next to a protected 500 year old pohutukawa tree, this is the ideal place to park up the car and stroll to all the wonderful amenities so close by.
Until the end of February enjoy the fabulous Gourmet Night Market every Friday from 5-9pm. Bring a picnic blanket (or borrow one of ours) sit back and relax enjoying the free live music as you try some of the great local cuisine on offer.
If you come for a weekend break, enjoy the Farmers Market on every Sunday from 9am - 1pm in the Phoenix Car Park, just a few minutes walk from your accommodation.
Just walk out the back gate to Coronation Park, cafes and boutique shops.
Pilot Bay and the main Mount Mauganui beach are both just minutes to walk to.
We have off-road parking available to our guests right outside the flat.
Please note we do have pets on our property - a cat and small dog.
Special conditions:
Couples preferred, however we do have a fold out single bed that can set up for an extra child or adult under 80kg.

Small apartment in excellent location.. needs a bit of TLC though

The property is located perfectly for walking to local restaurants, the Mount and the beach. While it ticked all the boxes the decor did appear a bit tired. Bed was comfortable but towels were hard and didn’t smell very fresh. The fridge was completely frosted up. The seating outside was pretty dirty and the back gate access as described was blocked off. The whole place would have benefited from a bit more prep before guests arrived.

Comfy stay in a great location.

Very comfortable, well stocked studio accommodation. Very close to everything we needed while staying at The Mount. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and obliging.

Great stay

Great cozy little unit. Great location close to restaurants, shops, Bay Oval and the mount itself. All I’m walking distance. Would definitely stay again it need arises. Could do with the coffee replaced though.
