Glamping w/ Free Wifi, comfy bed, Hot water & Self Check N

Perfect for a quick overnight stay or a weekend getaway Good choice for singles, families, friends & couples who wish to camp but don’t want to rough The caravan is Ideal for those on a budget but wanting a little privacy!
The double bed is provided fully made up with linen and towels, and the bunks have a bottom sheet, pillow and pillow case provided.
As a budget option - a Linen Pack (bedding/towels) can be provided for an extra single fee of $10 per person per stay For the bunk bed. The caravan has a small living area, with table and chairs. The caravan also has a small kitchenette provided with utensils, dining set, jug and toaster plus small fridge. Guests staying in our caravan use Communal Shower & Toilet facilities a short walk away from your caravan.

We have spring fed creeks running through the farm swimmers can jump off the bank and swim in the 3m deep hole. More swimming can be done at the waterfalls too

Plenty of tramping choices on the farm range from 1 to 6 hours - through bush, grassland and up into the mountains for amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Hauraki Gulf.

White Star Station has been in the Evans family since 1864.
We want to make sure everyone has a great stay with us. We are a family oriented farm and expect reasonable, courteous behaviour from all our guests. Please respect other guests and allow everyone to enjoy their holiday.

If bringing your pet we charge an extra $30 per pet per stay on top of you total price.
Please note this property is pet-friendly should you suffer from fur allergies. We do our best to remove all pet fur but cannot guarantee that 100% of the fur can be removed.

Our water is sourced from the stream high up in the hills and is untreated it is recommended that water should be boiled for drinking if you are not use to country water.

IF ARRIVING AFTER 5PM get your food before you come. Coromandel town will be your last opportunity as local stores in Colville will be closed.

Relaxing holiday stay with greenery surroundings

Fast and hassle-free check-in. Nice stay and environment is exactly as advertised. Just relaxing, cooking and reading book leisurely in the caravan. Some other holiday campers were also living nearby so got to share toiletries but everyone was mindful of each other. Nearby attraction includes bush walking/trail with river and waterfall within walking distance. You can book for horse ride next to the holiday site. Really good experience of layback holiday.

Quiet with a comfy bed.

The caravan was all we needed for a quiet weekend away from home. The bed was super comfortable and the caravan was clean and warm.

Awesome place

Wonderful little set up really happy only bummer was was no hot water in the showers after only using it twice and also running out of toilet paper ( had some with us so all good ) and had to do dishes in caravan with boiling jug as gas bottle go hot water had run out as well , but would stay again loved the place

A view that take your breath away

It was clean and cozy, just not meant for tall people, my husband could not stand up straight in the caravan. The land is beautiful, you don’t even need to leve the property, there is so much to do and to explore. Breathtaking

We are a family of 4 living and managing this working sheep and beef farm with My husband Karl is the 6th generation farmer and has been working here for the past 26 years or more. We breed exceptional Hereford cattle and Romney Perendale sheep

Colville Farm Holidays / White Star Station is on a 1,260 hectare sheep and cattle farm. It is now operated by Karl and Tellic Evans, it has been run by the Evans family since 1864.

What makes this property unique

Swim In the fresh spring fed creek 150m away, Further upstream swimmers can jump off the bank and swim in the 3m deep hole. More swimming can be done at the waterfalls too - 3 of them - lovely native bush to walk through.

Plenty of Tramping choices on the farm range from 1 to 6 hours - through bush, grassland and up into the mountains for amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Hauraki Gulf. (Detour to an old goldmine for closeups of glow worms too) Maps available

Guided Horse Treks are on site. But are independently owned/ operated by Belinda. (Bookings essential ) Contact her to enquire or book as she will know the available times. Contact details are available.

Our location is 30 minutes drive from Coromandel township and 3 drive minutes from our quite country settlement of Colville which has a General Store with all your basics and 2 cafes as well. 1 hour drive to the start of the coastal walkway at Fletcher bay
