• Recently renovated Beachfront holiday house (new kitchen and bathroom November 2022).
•Amazing views of Wyuna Bay & Coromandel ranges.
• Only 30 steps from driveway to boat ramp makes for easy fishing access. BBQ or smokehouse for the catch.
• Sit on the sofa and watch the ever-changing vista & tidal bay activities: beach, pontoon, fishing, kayaks (4 available)
• 6 min drive to Coromandel Town.
• Come and make some memories, Unwind & Unplug at our Beachfront 'Kiwi Bach'.
The Bach has been recently renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom (November 2022) and provides great views of tranquil, picturesque, ever-changing Wyuna Bay and the Coromandel Ranges in the distance.
It's the kind of place to sit back relax, unplug, unwind and make great kiwi holiday memories. You will find the ever-changing water and hillside vista and the novelty of watching the bay’s tidal activities are the ultimate time thief.
We have set the Bach up to be ideal for families and fishing groups. Meters from the beach, the Bay is safe to swim, paddle and launch the boat
Fully self-contained, the house has everything you would need for the short weekend away or longer escapes.
A brand new kitchen and external door to the fully fenced courtyard at the back of the house makes indoor/outdoor flow and alfresco dining effortless and allows the bay to 'follow you' to this area. From the 6 seat outdoor table you can watch and listen to the Tui, Kereru (Wood pigeon), Ruru (Morepork), Quail, Butterflies and the odd pheasant and rabbit in the native bush.
The kitchen now has ample storage and bench space to prepare your 'catch' from your days activities on the Bay or to prepare your cuppa/drinks and nibbles after your hard day of relaxing.
The new bathroom offers a large shower and ample storage and space for your and your family/group.
There are two larger bedrooms (one with a King bed and one with a Queen bed) plus a small bunk room (4 single beds - bunks) for kids and adults.
The King room, Queen room, dining room, living area, lounge and two front decks all have views of the bay.
The bach also has Insect screens on the bedroom windows and now a Heat pump , heated towel rail and bathroom fan heater for your comfort. Please ensure you turn off all heating appliances when you leave the bach.
GAMESROOM: A Table tennis, foosball table and dart board can be found in the spacious garage area.
KAYAKS: 4 Kayaks are also located in the garage (Adult and Kids lifejackets also), please feel free to use.
The garage does not have internal access, just a short stroll back down the side path.
LINEN: Included in your stay is hotel quality linen and towels for all agreed guests - just bring your beach towels. We also attempt to provide enough information and essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, washing powders, toiletries .....) to get your stay started.
CLEANING: The cleaning fee covers the hotel quality linen AND an intensive clean between guests. This is very important to us, as you can see from our reviews. It is also important to us that our lovely caretaker receives more than a living wage.
TIDAL BAY - The bay is tidal (like most on the Coromandel peninsula), making launch and retrieve more challenging an hour either side of low tide, but if you have a 4-wheel drive, there is a 'locals' way of launching and retrieving over this time which we are happy to let you know. We are a keen fishing family, please just ask about possible fishing and boating adventures.
COVID: We have worked really hard throughout the pandemic to meet the needs of our guests, always refunding when anyone was impacted by NZ travel restrictions. However, with Covid now 'normalised', our standard cancellation terms will apply, as such we strongly encourage youg to explore travel insurance in case you have any unexpected cancellations or Covid issues in the future.

Our family had an amazing time, even though the weather wasn't great. The house and location are beautiful, and Pauline was extremely helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway.
