We are excited to help you plan your vacation! The Lakeside Chalet features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and is perfect for 2-8 people. If your idea of roughing it includes a premium property with Smart TV, WiFi, a gorgeous lake setting, complete privacy, and endless amenities, you've found the perfect location. Enjoy a long weekend or an entire week in this beautiful, updated Innsbrook A-frame. Located within a gated community and built in late 2007, it is luxuriously outfitted for all of your getaway needs – whether you're seeking a romantic escape or a weekend of fun with family and friends.

Nestled within a 1.3-acre forest of trees, this very private deluxe chalet is the perfect setting for your lake vacation. Lake Sonnenblick is just outside the door where you will enjoy watching a constant flow of wildlife; a paddleboat is included with the chalet and is stored at the water's edge next to the dock. In the summer, take a paddleboat ride around 4-acre Lake Sonnenblick or enjoy the popular sandy beaches and swim docks on 150-acre Lake Aspen.

This chalet features a sand beach and a lakeside fire pit and patio, perfect for enjoying the outdoors year-round. The beautiful first-floor living room has amazing views and a stone wood-burning fireplace, cozy for early spring, fall, and winter getaways.

Three private bedrooms are fully furnished with a king & queen-size beds. The loft also contains a sleeper sofa (queen size).

The over-sized kitchen is well-appointed and is ready for preparing meals for small or large gatherings. A gas grill on the deck is also available.

Smart TV (no local channels) - easy to use your own Netflix, etc, accounts

Sit on the dock or the deck, or even the screened-in porch and feel a part of nature in Innsbrook's Audubon Sanctuary. The Conference Center, beautiful outdoor swimming pool, Innsbrook's award-winning 18-hole golf course and the Clubhouse Restaurant are just minutes from the chalet.

Please note that we charge a one time property damage protection fee. This is actually a damage protection policy that protects you for up to $500 worth of coverage for any damages incurred because we know that accidents can happen. Pets are welcome as well for an additional $55 per night.

Hidden gem

The home is located on the water with the sun rise coming over the hill and lighting up the deck and living room. The bedrooms are on west side of home allowing those who want to sleep in, do so in comfort. The security gate is an added comfort factor as well. The peace of the woods the home is situated in is very relaxing. The deer, squirrels and frogs all add to the tranquility of the stay. Beautiful place, one we will visit again.

Froze the first night due to unseasonably chilly weather and wifi thermostat. Had to build a fire which I did not want to do as I have COPD and smoke bothers my breathing. Next day water main break. We were not kept in the loop as to when we would have water back. We are in our 50's we go off season and during the week to avoid crowds or parties. We felt like this trip we were treated a bit rudely. Like the supplies were rationed in the chalet. Our previous experience with Sarah was much more relaxed. I did enjoy the property though. Easy access to the house and lake.

Beautiful Area!

We stayed in the fall, and it’s so pretty! The chalet was clean with most everything we needed. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and relax.

I live in St. Louis County with my three children and love that we can easily get to our Innsbrook house in an hour, door-to-door, for a getaway weekend or sometimes for just a night. We purchased our first property at Innsbrook in 2005 and moved in for summer fun in 2006. We love going to Innsbrook as much as we can! We spend our days swimming in the lake, feeding the huge catfish that come to our dock, picking lots of berries, grilling steaks and exploring the woods. We absolutely love our time at Innsbrook and are anxious for everyone to experience how wonderful it is. No one has yet to come away less than enthusiastic!

Why they chose this property

Innsbrook is a world away from the busy suburban life that we live most of the time. When you pass through the main gate at Innsbrook, you feel like you've traveled across the country to a unique destination. It's a peaceful getaway, full of family fun, yet such an incredibly easy escape. We bought this chalet in 2008 to use as a vacation rental so we can share everything we love about Innsbrook with others -- old friends and new friends alike.

What makes this property unique

We love to bike the many roads (& hills!) of Innsbrook on early summer mornings. The kids love to fish off the dock all year and they spend hours in the summertime in the water -- swimming, floating, sailing. (They've even been known to break through the ice in the wintertime in the kayak). The wildlife is incredible -- not a day goes by when we don't see deer, bluebirds, woodpeckers, owls. It's a huge treat to see the animals to close to us. We also love the simple life that Innsbrook offers -- the orchards nearby, tiny Harmony Church, the friendliness of all the staff, the country store for ice cream, the farmer's market for homemade bread and fresh produce. We have explored it all -- golf, tennis, the basketball courts, all the beaches, the running trails, the outdoor movies. We love sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine just taking it all in; total relaxation.
