Only 11 km from Zurich along Lake Zurich and with views of the Swiss Alps

Miles is a municipality in the canton of Zurich situated directly on Lake Zurich. The lake is not only within reach, he also perfect for swimming, diving and sailing. Everything is at 5 minutes. But you can also move towards the east to the mountain 'panhandle' and admire the lake and the other bank as a whole from a distance. The golfers, riders and mountain bikers come in close proximity to their costs. Outside the door begin extensive hiking trails that provide always beautiful views of Lake Zurich and the Alps. In nearby wine growers, for example, in Upper miles, you can take a sample of the great Swiss white and red wine from the area. The municipality miles offer everything infrastructure, what it needs for daily life.

Peaceful retreat away from city centre

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay with this apartment as our Zurich base.

Kathrin, the owner kindly met us at the closest station and drove us and our bags to the apartment on our arrival.

The apartment itself is spacious, very clean and quiet. Although, we stayed during winter the apartment was both warm and light filled. It is a convenient and easy walk from the station with the trains from Zurich operating like clockwork.and with a large Migros (supermarket) on the route home.

The only one point to mention would be that the beds could be more comfortable. Overall a wonderful stay though and would certainly reccomend to others..

You are here on the Gold Coast Zurich. Miles is 11 km away from Zurich along Lake Zurich with beautiful views of the Alps. It is located in an elevated position in the countryside with a beautiful view of Lake Zurich &'re 20 minutes from the center of Zurich. The railway station, post office and to all other shops of the village is 5 minutes' walk. You can also take the bus for one stop from the village center. The ferry takes 10 minutes on the other side of the lake to Horgen.
