About this property

Delight in wine country at our Vineyard Barn at Aeolus Vineyard. This barn loft is brand new and brilliantly appointed. After a day of Willamette Valley wine tasting and strolling country roads, sink into the heavenly queen memory foam bed with lovely linens, or relax in the full shower with on demand water heater. You'll marvel at the beautiful view of the mountains in the morning from your bed overlooking the LaLa block of Pommard vines. Situated on a hill with ancient oaks, and open pasture.
About The Vineyard
Aeolus vineyard is a wonderful 4.5 acre vineyard spread across an 8 acre property that originally was started by Ed Greenwood. Original plantings of Pommard Pinot Noir and Tempranillo were placed in 1982. Due to infestation with phylloxera, starting in 2003 several of the original plots had to be replanted.
Current plantings and dates include:
Pommard West Block- planted Originally planted 1982, replanted 2007
Tempranillo block- planted June 2003
Dijon 115 Block- grafted June 2006
Pommard East Block- originally planted 1988, replanted majority in 2012

Cute little getaway

This little room over the barn was perfect for my Thanksgiving getaway. It was clean and had everything I needed. The surrounding scenery was beautiful.

Quaint and clean

Stay was exactly as advertised. Clean property, and the space had all the amenities you'd need for an even longer stay. Awesome view of the vineyards and valley as well 👌

Wonderfully Quiet Place to Stay

This little barn was everything one could imagine. The view is spectacular. I sat outside in the mornings as the sun came up listening to the birds while drinking my coffee. It is the perfect distance from both McMinnville and Salem. The room is very clean and comfortable. Angela was very helpful and I would definitely recommend staying here or at any of the Salem Stays properties.

I have twin boys Max and Sam, who I am currently using my vacation rentals income to help put them both through college! My boys are my world, and I am proud of both of them. I am also an Arbonne Independent Consultant. Arbonne provides pure, safe and beneficial health and beauty products. Our products are made for those that don't want to use harsh chemicals and want true results in their health and their looks! As I got closer to having to start paying for my boys college, I decided to launch my vacation rental business with my Downtown Salem Loft. a 2400 sq ft "New York Style Loft" Apartment in the oldest historical building in downtown Salem. I quickly realized this was my nitch, I was great at hosting guests and providing beautiful, affordable lodging in our Capitol City and Greater Willamette Valley and so it began. My vacation rental company is SalemStays. Currently I have 7 vacation rentals in Salem, 1 In Independence Oregon towards the coast and wine country and 1 in Stayton Oregon on the trail to Silver Falls State park and the Oregon Gardens! I love the hospitality business and supplying guests with beautiful, comfortable, and usable spaces to stay in for a much more reasonable price than staying in a hotel.
