Amazing house in an amazing location

  • 5 of 5

Finding the house was easy enough. The location was just amazing. Looking out over the water opposite the mountains. We even got to see the northern lights a few nights and got some

Great footage and photos!

House was immaculate. So so clean which is great for me as I’m a cleaner! Beds were comfy and the shower was super powerful. It just all felt luxurious and lovely it was a great 3 nights before we headed south! We certainly missed it for the rest of the week!

Town was a mere 20 minutes away. Weather was quite extreme but we loved it! Got blizzards and snow!

Oh I nearly forgot the hot tub! Lovelyyyy. Only downside is you got to get in early to start filling it up.

Only thing I would say was missing was tea coffee and sugar and little essentials like that. We did a food shop but was hard to gauge what might be available.

Oil was another thing, as needed it for most cooking so was a little stuck. The mugs were a little on the small side but we just had two!

Overall best place I’ve stayed ever I think!!

Beautiful Fjord views by day...Northern lights at night!!

  • 5 of 5

Our recent stay at Nollur Farm was amazing! The property affords amazing views from every room.

Looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows, we felt that we were aboard a stationary cruise ship!

We watched the sheep & the tidal changes during the day & the gorgeous Northern lights every night!

Also, highly recommend whale watching nearby! Amazing!

We hope to return again one day soon!

spectacular!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved, loved, loved this house!! In fact, we may have moved in permanently! Don't look in the cabinets!

The setting is spectacular. You can watch the northern lights from bed. Although there are tons of windows, you have complete privacy.

Do not stay here if you like peace and quiet. The only sound was the baaing of sheep or the honking of geese. Although there were other guests staying on the grounds, we heard no one.

The pictures do not do this property justice. It is beautiful and meticulously maintained.

We can't wait to come back!

Nothing short of spectacular!

  • 5 of 5

I cannot imagine a more peaceful, beautiful place to stay in the Akureyri area. We had everything we needed and more - a well stocked home with an impossibly gorgeous bay view. This is part of a working farm, so one can visit the sheep nursing their kids in the barn. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Northern Iceland! The photos don't even do it justice.

A beautiful home on the fjord!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent the past 4 days at this lovely fjord side home! We felt at home the minute we stepped inside the house. This newly built vacation home has all the amenities that one expects. The view is so amazing that it was difficult for us to leave the house. The beds are amazingly comfy ... The hot tub is unique and fabulous and the view of the northern lights on our first night was an added surprise that we were hoping would happen. The house is very roomy ... And the kichen had everything we needed. You will need to purchase spices and.sugar - no problem :-) we can't say enough about how wonderful it was. Highly recommend! Thank you for everything! M & M

Amazing place

  • 5 of 5

We decided to split our trip to Iceland up in 3 - and this was our second place after 3 nights in Reykjavík. Arrival arrangements went really well. We stopped in the local 'Bonus' supermarket and called to say we would be roughly 30 minutes away and a time was agreed. Upon arrival to the house - which was found very easily, we were very happy.

The house is large, well designed and comfortably slept all 6 of us. The design and finish through the property is exceptional and all our children loved the hot tub whilst overlooking the sea and the Northern lights shining above.

I would happily recommend this as a great location to stay as Akureyri as its not far and is also a great hub to use for the North/ North East with some exceptional places to visit nearby - Myvatan etc

We would look forward to visiting this place again sometime soon as there is so much to see and do up this part of Iceland :)

Many thanks
