Fully stocked house rental

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was conveniently located and had a lovely view of the bay. We enjoyed the hot tub! It was well stocked with cooking utensils and even hot drinks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable, great view and excellent hosts!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 stayed 3 nights here. It was very comfortable, open airy rooms with big windows and nice beds. The owners have all types of newspapers, books and magazines about the area. The kitchen is really well stocked both with appliances and pantry items. The view across the bay is stunning. The only thing I didn't like is it's proximity to a major road so unfortunately there was a lot of road noise during the day. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Owner's Response: While landscaping provides excellent close to town privacy there is some summer traffic noise. Unfortunately construction vehicles, including heavy trucks, working on the road farther out have added to it greatly this season. This is not a normal condition.

Best Ever

  • 5 of 5

Our family has stayed in a lot of vacation rentals but this was easily one of our top three. Location, comfort, accommodations provided, friendliness of Tony and Liz....I could go on and on. This place had it all and the owners were the most generous and best ever! Going to Homer? Stay here!

Beautiful House and wonderfully kind owners

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I initially booked a weekend in the off-season to celebrate our anniversary. The first two days were amazing with ample space in the house and gorgeous sea views, fully stocked kitchen and of course, the hot tub. We were worried about its proximity to the main road but the noise was never a problem and it felt secluded without actually being so and it was only a short distance to the downtown area. On our third night, I ended up in the emergency room with gal bladder issues and ended up having surgery at South Peninsula Hospital there in Homer (which conveniently was only a three minute drive from the house). Our nice little weekend getaway turned into one week with my mom even having to fly in from Anchorage. I ended up having to stay in Homer some additional days so they could monitor me. Tony was amazing! Not only did he allow us to add an additional guest (my mom) at the last minute, but he only charged us what we had initially booked and comped us the remaining days! I can not even begin to tell you what a huge relief that was. He turned a stressful situation into a blessing. After I was released from the hospital, I stayed in the house for two days and due to the layout of the house, it was easy for me to maneuver around and I found everything very accessible. Although our anniversary weekend was spoiled by my surgery, staying at this house helped make the entire experience a good one. I can not begin to thank Tony enough for his kindness and understanding and for turning a scary situation into something positive. I would most definitely stay here again!
