Aruba Malmok Villa Bon Bida!
Upscale beach bungalow with all of today’s comfort and amenities. Oceanfront, quiet and safe. Privacy and luxury in the exclusive residential beach area of Malmok, the finest residential area on the island. Less than two miles from most restaurants, casinos, hotels and American style supermarkets.
Beside it’s beaches and the Tierra Del Sol Golf Course, this place is famous as the starting point for a real off road experience on the northeast side of the island. Make your trip by bike or 4X4 through the splendid nature of Aruba’s rocky coastline interrupted by white sandy “boca’s”.
Bon Bida, papiamento for the good life!
Living in style: Have your dinner on the seaside veranda with a beautiful sunset view or on the poolside patio in a romantic garden setting.
Spend your happy hour under the seaside palapa or at the poolside palapa.
The villa offers spacious living places, inside and outside. All rooms are fully air conditioned.
The villa has been completely refurnished and redecorated recently. The style is very tropical with modern, most Indonesian style, furniture. All of which was found in the beautiful home decoration shops on the island.
The villa is decorated with colorful paintings of local artists.
If you need more accommodation, with the annex property 'Casita Atardi' (HomeAway nr. 3468826) you have 2 extra bedrooms and 1 extra bathroom.
The Villa and the Casita both have their own playground, pool and privacy.
Outdoor living: Aruba’s famous coast is just in front of the villa and the ocean is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving. Other popular sport activities include windsurfing, kite-surfing and sailing.
The villa is next to the Golf Course of the Tierra Del Sol Country Club, which houses our favorite hill-top restaurant: Ventanas Del Mar, with its gorgeous views. Do not forget to enjoy the Spa!
The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was awesomevwe cooked frequently and it had every appliance dish etc u could possibly want or need. The set up was perfect with each room having its own bathroom. Well decorated well maintained. We loved the pool!!!!
The best snorkeling on island was right out in front. Recommend renting a car it got to be expensive using cabs. The pool boy and housekeeper came several times during week.
We loved it.... highly recommend hope to be able to do our next family reunion there. Worth every penny.... Thanks Mercedes
My family and I stayed here over the week of Christmas. The house is wonderful, plenty of space for everyone. We loved that there were so many areas outside to sit and relax, in the front of the house, and in the back. We rented a car at the airport, and were able to buy groceries and do a lot of cooking at the house. The kitchen is huge, and very well equipped. The house is right across the street from the beach, and just a short walk away is the beautiful Arashi Beach, which we enjoyed one day. Lis, the housekeeper, was there to meet us and show us around. If we had any questions, she was only a phone call away. We have stayed in several houses in the same area over the years, and this house is certainly up to all the high standards that we look for in a rental. I would recommend this house for rent, without any hesitation!
We had a bit of an unconventional rental from Tuesday to Tuesday for 2 weeks. I had notified owner that we would arrive earlier in the day than 4pm check in, arrangements were made for a 3pm check-in. There was no one there when we arrived, after about 10 minutes Lis was there but thought we weren't coming until the next day. (She also called on the Sunday before our departure to see if we were leaving that day.) So house was not quite ready for check-in. Beds needed made and towels put out, floors were cleaned. This was done quickly. It was a bit unnerving. The house ended up being very nice. Lots of space for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Pool was cleaned every few days. Housekeeping came once during our stay, made beds and swept floors. We ended up doing our own towels and linens in the available washer and dryer. We did have some trouble with the kitchen sink backing up but called Lis and it was fixed quickly. House is across the street from snorkeling. You have to jump to get in and then swim to the right or left to get out. Snorkeling with easier entry to the left or about 1/4 mile up to the right. Loved walking across the street to watch sunsets. Location is quiet, yet close enough to shopping, restaurants, groceries. A car is helpful but there is a bus stop across the street. Kitchen is well equipped. I would recommend this a good rental for larger families or several couples, lots of space and privacy.
Beautiful home, with many newly updated appliances. The only thing that really needs attention is the area around the pool, most loungers had straps that were torn and the material was badly faded and worn and the hammock was ripped and unusable. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully furnished with most anything you would need, including PLENTY of dishes and lots of glasses! A short walk across the street and you can view a beautiful sunset across the water. Also within a 5 min. walk of 2 snorkel sites! Fantastic place that I would highly recommend!
My family.......6 adults and 3 children.....just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Bon Bida (June, 2016). The house was even nicer than the photos....the bedrooms and baths were spacious as was the inside living areas...we never felt crowded. However, our favorite area was the outside ...with its comfortable lounging furniture, plentiful eating areas, wonderful pool and privacy. The house and kitchen were very well equipped .....beach chairs ands some snorkeling equipment were also provided. The location was perfect.....very close to several of the 'lesser used' but delightful beaches and only a short drive to some of the more popular beach areas. Mercedes was not in Aruba during our stay but she responded quickly to an email that I sent. Lis, the housekeeper, was very responsible and we felt very well cared for. We rented cars and I recommend doing that...also we had some difficulty initially finding the house......so, after you pass the Ritz Carlton take the first road on the right (about 1/2 mile)...the house is immediately on the left.
We travelled with four adults and three children aged 7 to 2 years of age. The House was fantastic for us - spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. There is a porch for every time of the day and living areas are a great escape from the sun. Our kids really enjoyed the pool which was very well kept. The kitchen is airy and well stocked. You don't need to eat out but the restaurants in the High Rise beach resorts are not far if you need to get out for a night. There was a lovely sunset every night visible across the beach. The bedrooms were very comfortable with good air conditioning to cool things off.
The owners also helped us find someone to cook meals and to arrange for spa treatments under the breezy palapa. Ask for Lerita's contact information.
Arashi Beach, a few minutes away by foot or car was our favorite on the island. Also, don't miss Philip's Animal Rescue or the Arikok National Park - both of which are good half day trips which will entertain the kids.
Overall, this was a perfect place for a family - comfortable and away from the crowds! Many thanks!!!
Aruba is one of the most temperate islands in the Caribbean. Constantly moderated by trade winds from the Atlantic Ocean, Aruba has an average daytime temperature of 82° Fahrenheit (27° Celsius), with the difference between median day and night temperatures, and between summer and winter temperatures just 3.6°.
Aruba is an island of contrasting terrain. The southeast has the white sand beaches, turquoise seas, and warm waters. Aruba has an arid, almost desert like interior. The northwest coast, exposed to the Atlantic, has a few white sand beaches, rough seas and a rocky coastline. In Aruba you will see wind-bent divi-divi trees, many different varieties of cacti, and unique rock formations.
