About Bob Klein
Tucson Magazine named Bisbee, Arizona “Best Place to Get out of Town” for 2009, but we discovered this charming historical mining town on a road trip years ago. It was late afternoon and the sun was just setting on the red-colored mountains that surround Bisbee when we drove into town for the very first time. It was like we were looking at a picture-perfect postcard! One year later we came back for a second visit and it was during this visit that we bought a 100-year-old boarding house (which we made into our home) and the 110-year-old miner's cottage (now the Doublejack Guesthouse) next door. We love it here! Your hosts, Jeff & Bob.

Why Bob Klein chose Bisbee
Bisbee is a friendly and accepting community which offers everything from fine dining to old-west saloons, mining history, Victorian architecture, great hiking and world-class birding opportunities.

Fantastic property. Wonderful owners. Will definitely stay again.
Always enjoy the Doublejack!
Every time we had to Bisbee for a long weekend we try to stay at the Doublejack. It's a wonderful, magical hideaway overlooking Brewery Gulch and the distant mountains, while still remaining easy walking distance to everything Bisbee has to offer. We couldn't recommend a place more highly!
The guest house was really lovely and spacious and the hosts took care of all sorts of nice details. We've met them before and they are super-friendly, gracious, good-humored and easy to talk to. We encountered no problems. Bisbee is a terrific town and we look forward to visiting again!
Spectacular Views of Bisbee
This little miners cabin has been lovingly restored and updated into the perfect Bisbee get away. Bob and Jeff poured their hearts and souls into this perfect paradise. It simply doesn't get any better than this.
We could have sat out on the private porch and terrace area forever (if we thought could get away with it:) enjoying unparalleled views of Old Bisbee, and getting hooked on fresh coffee left by our hosts.
From this vantage point, we were able to walk most of town, checking out all of its quirky décor, staircases and charm. I took tons of pictures.
We also hiked to Bisbee’s cross shrine, which was amazing and offered more breathtaking views of town.
Be sure to check out High Desert Market, they have great food!
Oh, and those 75 steps? Piece of cake!
We’ll be back. Thanks so much!
Our favorite place to stay in Bisbee, and we go there twice a year and have stayed many different places
Real Bisbee well done. Lots of lovely details but not fussy. All you need inside and out. We had a great short stay
Walk to fine dining, arts, museums, galleries, evening entertainment, and historic attractions; watch great birding; access hiking trails right above the house; and relax and enjoy gorgeous sunsets and stargazing from your private deck.
