Photos and Description of this Fairmont holiday house

House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-6)

The Little Pink House is just blocks away from the University of Oregon,The new Arena, and Historic Hayward Field. It is also a short walk from Autzen Stadium and our beautiful bike paths along the Willamette River. The free EMX bus is only blocks away and will take you to the heart of down town for the Farmer's Market, Saturday Market or just to experience Eugene. We are located in the heart of the historic Fairmount Neighborhood which boasts many bakeries, restaurants, organic markets and the famed Prince Puckler's Ice Cream Parlor. Although the Little Pink House is only one year old it was built on the foundation of the very first stage coach station in Eugene. The Pink House is tucked away, and located in a wonderful wooded neighborhood, however it is only steps away from Fairmount Blvd. The house is located on a private alley with it's own parking. We have recently added a lovely path from the pink house which will take you straight to Fairmount Blvd.

We have now added a brand new sleeper sofa to the house allowing accommodations for six. Additionally, we added a 42 inch flat screen high def. television.

The Pink House is furnished with the best hotel beds linens and towels. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee and tea. The house has a new gas barbecue, surround sound, cable television, sky lights, wireless internet and comfortable furniture. We have literature in the house regarding Eugene and it's many attractions, as well as the Willamette Valley. We are close to fishing, hiking, boating, biking, wine name it! We have coolers, fishing equipment and even a GPS on request. We know you will enjoy our 'hide away'! Email inquiries only please.

Keywords: Close to the University of Oregon. Family friendly. Close to hikes, bike paths, wonderful restaurants, coffee, ice cream. Steps from the Matthew Knight Arena, Hayward Field and Autzen Stadium.

About Lara Rear

We have stayed in VRBO properties, in Greece, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Panama, the United States, Germany and Mexico and had absolutely wonderful experiences in every property. We want to provide that for our guests as well. We have recently used The Little Pink House as a long time rental for visitors to the University of Oregon as we are only blocks from campus.

Lara Rear purchased this house in 2008

Why Lara Rear chose Eugene

The Little Pink House was brand new in 2008. Given it's location to the University of Oregon, we decided to list the home on VRBO. Having traveled the world and staying in VRBO properties ourself, we thought it would be a wonderful way to preserve the house, and meet wonderful people. When we listed the Little Pink House it was one of five VRBO properties in Eugene! We are now nearly word of mouth having visitors return time and time again. We love the fact that so many have loved staying at our Little Pink House.

What makes this house unique

The Little Pink house is blocks away from the Matthew Knight arena, Hayward Field and even Autzen Stadium. It is set off of the street, yet only steps from Historic Fairmount Blvd. Around the corner Hendrick's park with acres of old growth forest, running and hiking trails. Pre's rock is found only blocks from the house. Fairmount Park down the street is perfect for the kiddos and boasts a water feature for summer fun. Our famous bike trails are only blocks from the house as well as the Willamette River. Spencer's Butte and Mt. Pisgah are also only a short drive away.

Excellent location and Well Equipped Home

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of four and stayed in the Little Pink House in Eugene, OR in July 2016. The house is centrally located and easy to navigate through Eugene and near the University. The house was perfect for our needs. There are two queen bedrooms upstairs and the beds are both very comfortable. There is only one bathroom, which is located on the entry level/downstairs area. The home was well equipped with kitchenware for light cooking, plenty of towels for the bathroom, excellent Wifi and satellite TV. We even took advantage of the BBQ, which also worked well. The washer and dryer was a bonus, though we didn't need to use it. If we return to Eugene, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!

Lovely House in nice neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

A friend and I stayed in the Little Pink House for a week, while attending a painting class in the Eugene area. It is a lovely, very comfortable house, located in pretty, walkable neighborhood. The small patio out the front door provided a pleasant spot for an evening glass of wine, while grilling dinner. The house was clean and compact (not too small) and the beds/bathroom very comfortable. We had many of our meals in and had most of what we needed. (sorry, couldn't find the grill cleaning tools so did my best!) Perfect to have the two bedrooms for a little space/privacy and the living and dining area was very comfortable. I had a lovely stay. Thank you!

Great house, great location!

  • 5 of 5

This house is not only very nice and in a great location, it is also a great deal. We were a bit worried that the location would be too isolated (we're used to staying in downtown Eugene), but it was actually great and gave us an opportunity to explore a new area. We were able to walk to a little playground with the kids, walk to Market of Choice, and walk to Prince Pucklers, McMenamin's and Agate Alley. We also walked to Hendricks Park. I still think you do need a car, but it's nice to be able to do some things without it. The only thing missing in the kitchen was a salad spinner, but we were able to use my mom's. The beds were very comfortable and all of the appliances worked great. We especially liked waking up in the morning and coming down the stairs into the pretty living room with tons of windows. The photos on the site don't really do it justice. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great place, Fantastic value!

  • 5 of 5

We just discovered this little gem and will be going back. First, the location in the hills east of the U of O campus is in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Eugene. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet; it's wonderful for walks. In fact, the neighborhood is so conveniently located to the university and businesses, it's easy to function without renting an automobile. The place itself is very-well appointed and very clean. The thoughtful owner has provided everything you'll need and will supply whatever else you can think of. We mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary and arrived to flowers and a bottle of bubbly in the refrigerator! This operation is top-notch and you will NOT be underwhelmed or disappointed!

Perfect little gem!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the Little Pink House with my husband and two young boys and couldn't have been happier! It was a great location, nested in a hillside in a lovely residential section of Eugene close to the University of Oregon and other places to hike, run, etc.. The place was well stocked, impeccably clean, and the owners were very responsive when we had a question. It was a treat, very reasonably priced, and well located. We will definitely be back!
