Very idyllically located on the half height and south side of a mountain in the middle of Mallorca, with fantastic panoramic views in a beautiful valley with fields, trees and palm trees, reminiscent of Tuscany, this beautiful, to relax inviting stone finca with pool is located. Secluded location with absolute tranquility guaranteed!

The most beautiful natural beaches of the island are of the finca in max. 30-minute drive away.

To the airport it takes about 25 minutes, another 5 minutes, but it is vibrant downtown Palma de Mallorca, with its restaurants and cafes, the old town and the Cathedral.

Montuiri offers in only 3km distance shops for daily needs. In 15 min. one is in the wine-growing regions to Santa Maria and Benisallem where the greatest wineries like Macia Battle and Jose L. Ferrer invite you to wine tasting.

The finca built in Mallorcan style offers space for six people on two levels and is equipped with two bathrooms and a guest toilet, three bedrooms, kitchen, an entrance hall, a large living room with fireplace and a 50m2 terrace, as well as air conditioning and equipped with central heating. SAT-TV, W-Lan, safe, washing machine, etc. are available.

Great villa in nice location - poor pool maintenance brings down the experience

Villa is located in a quiet and secluded area and is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The location is central and most places can be reached within a 30 to 40min. car journey.

The check in and check out was well organised and the host was really helpful and attentive.

Please note that the villa is not 4 bedroom as advertised, the fourth ‘bedroom’ is a pull out sofa on the landing area. It did not affect our visit as we were a party of 6, which conformably fits in the 3 double bedrooms.

Also note that the villa is off the grid, electrical power is provided by solar panel with batteries and a backup generator. Although the concept works, it means that the lights have a tendency to flicker. We also had a complete back out when the weather was a bit cloudy and the generator did not start early one morning. Again this was quickly resolved.

The villa has a lot of art ornaments in and around the house, which makes the villa not really suitable for families with very young children.

Garbage is not collected and had to be brought to the local garbage collection point in town (only open on certain days), which is a bit of a pain given the hot temperatures and the lack of temporary garbage storage in the property.

Pool maintenance is minimal. In our two weeks stay, the pool was cleaned once. In previous villa stays, the pool had been inspected and cleaned every other day. No water sample was taken, which in other villas samples were taken every few days. Due to the location of the property near a forest, there is a lot of tree debris and a range of insects that end up at the bottom of the pool, which cannot be cleaned by the tenant as there is no tool for it, other than the net. Unfortunately we broke the net, trying to clean the bottom of the pool, which the owner refused to replace and for which we had to get a replacement in order to at least keep the pool clean enough to swim in.

In general we enjoyed our stay and the location and amenities of the villa, but we cannot ignore the poor pool maintenance, which is an important part of the villas appeal and it really brings down the overall value of the stay. We hope the owner will use the above feedback to improve what could be an excellent villa with pool.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Finca mitten auf Mallorca. Wer Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Die Finca liegt wunderschön auf einer Anhöhe mit Blick über die Ebene. Die Alleinlage ist genau richtig, wenn man von den Tagesausflügen an den belebten Stränden, die innerhalb von 30 bis 40 Minuten zu erreichen sind, zurückkkommt und den Tag in Ruhe ausklingen lassen möchte. In Montuiri befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, in dem man alles findet, was man so braucht. Auf dem Markt in Sineu (Mittwochs) kann man sich mit frischen Lebensmitteln (Obst und Gemüse) wunderbar eindecken. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren. Die Angaben in der Beschreibung trafen zu 100% zu.
