Quietly situated holiday cottage in residential area. Comprises of 30 qm living/dining room, 3 bedrooms and fitted kitchen. Relax on the 40 qm terrace with seaview, a small 3 mins walk from holiday town Son Bou. All conveniences in vacinity - supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy. Has one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island - 3 km long - sandy and clean. Perfect for sunbathers, watersports, or strollers. 3 bedrooms - 2 double (2 single beds), 1 single (1 bed-couch).

Special rates in the winter season: The area is well-known for its wintermonths. Electric-heating in all rooms and an open fire provides a comfy warmth in the living room when needed. During the winter season there is no public transport, a car would be advisable. If you are interested in a long-term stay during the winter months please contact us to discover the reductions.

Déception

Je vais commencer par les points positifs : - terasse avec belle vue - maison bien placee commerces et plage accessible a pied en quelques minutes - bonne communication avec le propriétaire - cuisine et salles de bains renovees Il y a en revanche un grand nombre de points negatifs - menage fait sommairement - aucun check in : nous nous sommes rendus a la reception de l agence Menorca Rentals (javais tente de les joindre par telephone avant mais ils sont injoignables), ils nous ont transmis des cles qui n etaient pas les bonnes nous avons du retourner a l agence et sans excuse ils nous ont transmis les bonnes cles - nous avions loue cette maison pour le barbecue (cela fait partie de nos critères) et il n y etait pas. J ai contacte le propriétaire qui nous a dit qu il avait ete casse mais qu il ne l avait pas remplace. Il nous a tout de meme proposer que l on aille acheter un barbecue simple et qu il nous rembouserait mais en restant une seule semaine nous n avons pas eu le temps de courir au magasin. - Les eviers de la cuisine et de la salle de bain etaient bouches. Le proprietaire a fait intervenir son plombier le lundi qui a pu reparer - Il n y a pas de machine a laver cest dommage pour une maison familiale, il y a un evier a l exterieur mais il n y a pas d evacuation donc l eau coule par en dessous - Enfin il n y a aucun plat pour aller au four a part le leche frites. Le prix n est pas justifie par rapport a la qualite du logement cest dommage.

Very poor cleanliness and terrible check in system.

Had to walk a long way to office to collect keys, not ready at 2pm, check in staff not pleasant, when received walked back to villa but had been given wrong keys. No one to explain workings of anything in villa, no info pack. We had never stayed in a property before where you are not met at the property with someone to explain the workings etc. Only 1 set of keys. Bedding was old, bleached stained, mis matched colours: purple pillowslip, blue sheet, no under pillows. Had electricity cut, couldn’t find fuse box, even when the electrician arrived after two calls, he struggled to find it, it was hidden behind a large wall picture. The wardrobe doors, particularly in twin room were almost impossible to open, off rollers. Cupboards and drawers in property full of (owners) stuff. A stray black haired cat resides on balcony & the cushion covers had cat hair left on them. The kitchen sink doesn’t drain well, needs sorting. The property has no air con and gets incredibly hot, it is difficult to leave windows/doors open for air as the property is surrounded by vegetation and suffers badly from mosquitoes. The property had not been cleaned very well. Particularly around the windows, shutters, inside wardrobes, under & behind beds …. very dusty. We had paid a substantial cleaning cost so expected better. We would welcome feedback from Vrbo as this is not to the standard we have come to expect.

Unforgettable holiday

a pleasant stay on a wonderful island. the added value was definitely the location. Great location, beautiful house and the thing that we liked most is the atmosphere that we breathed and that made the holiday family-friendly in fact the taste in the details of furniture of the owners of the house made us feel at ease! Unforgettable sunsets on the terrace of the house!
