AMAZING LOCATION! This adorable beach home is an easy walk to downtown and Lovers Point Beach and has everything you need for a relaxing and/or action packed weekend. Originally built in 1908 in the historic Pacific Grove Retreat, this home is rich in history and completely updated. Cozy, Comfortable and with all the modern conveniences. Pacific Grove STR #0084.

Walk in to an open floor plan, the living room flows to the kitchen. There is a huge gas fireplace, Smart Samsung TV with streaming apps, and soaring ceilings with skylights. Kitchen is fully stocked. Dining room opens to a private deck with an outdoor living room and a huge gas fireplace. An outdoor eating area, BBQ, hot tub and outdoor shower complete the backyard. The home has an upstairs living room loft with comfortable seating to watch the Smart Samsung TV or sit in front of another gas fireplace. Should you need a workspace we have an adjustable standing desk upstairs.

Two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor with queen beds. Master bath has a bathtub shower and the middle bedroom has a steam shower.

Rent from the owner- you'll communicate directly with me and my local house manager. I love sharing my home with people coming to enjoy Pacific Grove.

You can’t beat the location - Everything you could want or need is so close- enjoy the downtown restaurants and shops or Lover's Point beaches, Pacific Grove Golf Course. It's one mile on the beach trail to the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and historic Cannery Row Shopping in Carmel, golfing in Pebble Beach, hiking in Big Sur are an easy drive away or you can also just stay home and relax in the hot tub on the deck- read a book by a cozy fire.

The Pacific Grove Retreat is a historic neighborhood where the homes are close together. While we want you to enjoy your time, this is not a place to host a party. We observe the guest maximum (4) and work to be good neighbors by keeping the noise down. Love the location

Fantastic little two bedroom house. Ideal for us as we were two couples. We each had our own bathroom which was great. The house is ideally located. We could walk to Monterey, cannery row and up into pacific grove. Once parked we didn’t need to use our car much at all. The house does need some maintenance. A new dishwasher high on the list. A freshen up in the paint work would be good and a few minor maintenece issues need tending too. It could be made even better with a few little extras. The welcome basket needs to have a few more additions. A manual on how things work and when garbage bins go out etc would also help. The only other downside of being two couples was lack of lounge space downstairs. A couple of beanbags that could be moved either upstairs or downstairs would be ideal. Would we stay here again. YES.

Home away from home!

Our family absolutely loved staying at this rental. It truly was our home away from home. I loved star gazing from the loft upstairs and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every night before bed. The kitchen was perfect for baking and cooking which we enjoy doing. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were super comfy. We had to find a last minute rental after Highway 1 collapsed near Big Sur and Margaret and Frank were kind and accommodating. Margaret even went out of her way to get a beach wagon for our 3 year old daughter. We will be back to see Big Sur and more of the Monterey area and will definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend :)

Spring break week with the family

We stayed the week for my sons’ (ages 7&8) spring break and had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and clean and in a perfect location walking distance to lovers point and downtown pacific grove. Plenty of street parking was available and the owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would absolutely recommend and stay again if we decide to do another Monterey vacation.

PG Get Away

We absolutely loved this place. The listing was the same as the real thing! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the walking distance to restaurants, Lovers Point etc. We would definitely stay here again. Communication with the host was spot on and very prompt.

Excellent Pacific Grove experience
