Clean, quiet apartment in Vienna.

A nice, clean apartment on a quiet little street just west of the Ringstraße. The apartment had every accessory we needed- stove, oven, microwave, flatware, silverware, glassware, iron, blowdryer, any bathroom thing I could possibly want.

The building is safe, and clean, and close to a metro station, where you can get anywhere in Vienna you want. It's very efficient. There is an open air market, a supermarket, an ATM, and a host of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, as well.

Living like a Local in Vienna

Overall a positive experience at this property. It was as described in the advertisement.

Angela personally received to show us around the property. It was clean and secure. We are a family of three (two adults + toddler) and this space perfectly met our needs. We liked the ability to close the door between the kitchen and living area to allow the child space to play or sleep. The property was stocked with extra cleaning supplies and toiletries which was helpful. Would recommend keeping the blinds/shades closed during parts of the day unless you want the neighbors across the way watching you. It's easy to get "downtown" Vienna from this location by U-bahn.

The surrounding area is steps away from a great street market, a grocery store, and several restaurants. The neighborhood seems quiet, but we recommend exploring a couple of streets north (Payergasse and Ottakringer) of the apartments for places to eat or for shopping. Additionally, a number of restaurants and shopping can be found about 15 minutes walk on Josefstadter (east of the U-bahn). We enjoyed Wirr am Brunnenmarkt (bar/restaurant) essentially just outside the front door - it has some yummy drinks and beers.

Lovely apartment

Me and my friend stayed here for four nights whilst on holiday in Vienna.

It is in a fantastic location for exploring the Brunnenmarkt, and is about a 20 minute walk in to a more central part of Vienna. It is close to bars, supermarkets and a play park, yet is still a quiet area. The tube station is around a 5 minute walk away.

When we arrived, the landlady's sister warned us that we may experience problems with local men, however we felt very safe in the neighbourhood both during the day and at night time and experienced no problems at all.

The apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped with towels, kitchen utensils, bathroom and kitchen products. It is small, but it was the perfect size for two people, especially as we spent the majority of our time outside exploring. We did have issues with the shower, which did not stay hot, however we were more than happy to bath instead.

Great Vienna Stay

Really satisfactory stay. Location is great for accessing the centre of Vienna or the University and getting around by tram (#2 is great) or U-bahn (major connection point close by). Also a taxi stand around the corner near the U-bahn station. Great for walking into the centre, with a number of varied, pleasant routes with local shop windows to gaze into en route. Place is a great size for one, two or a couple with a child. Nice kitchen, well equipped with everything working and some basic supplies - we used it for breakfast and simple meals when we weren't eating out. Lots of storage good for short term stays. Thrilled to have a small washing machine and a nice drying rack, particularly as we had the place for a few weeks, and an iron and ironing board for touching up clothes before heading off to the opera or a nice dinner out! Apartment is bright and clean. We were pleased not to have carpet - clean bright wood look vinyl with tile in the bathroom. If you aren't used to European windows you might want to have Angela show you how they work before she heads off!

Location is relatively quiet and the upper floor apartment looks out into a peaceful residential street.

Best of all, one of the biggest vegetable markets in Europe is 1/2 block away and there are stalls weekdays as well as a huge number of stalls and activities on Saturdays. Good grocery shopping within easy walking or tram distance and lots of basic services along nearby Josefstadter Strasse - from post offices to copy shops, shoe stores, little specialty stores, an organic food store, even vegan clothes and shoes shops if you are looking for this!

Angela was prompt to respond to queries and good to deal with while setting up the rental. Met us at the apartment very late on a Friday evening when we had a late flight in from Madrid, which we really appreciated. (Probably better for neighbours - and Angela - if you can arrive a little earlier!) Thanks again, Angela! We'll definitely recommend that any friends passing through Vienna check to see if you have availability!

Good Value and Close to Train

It was a great little apartment for the 3 of us. (We have a toddler.) It's equipped with everything you need plus more. It's clean and on a quiet and safe street. Around the corner is a lovely market with fruits and vegetables. There is also some local ethnic food that's reasonably priced. The train station is a 5 minute walk away which you can connect to all the sights in the city like Old Town. It can also be walked to in 30 minutes.

A big thank you to the owners for being so accommodating. We had a late checkin which wasn't a problem at all. Thank you!

Nice little apartment in a great location

This apartment had everything we needed. It is well maintained, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent for exploring Vienna. There is an U-bahn station less than five minutes walk away which connects to everywhere in town. Around the corner is the Brunnermarkt where you can find all kinds of fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. The Gurtel, which is full of bars & clubs, is less than ten minutes walk away. The neighborhood is lively without being as packed as the Inner Stadt. The apartment was plenty large for the two of us, although it might be a little tight for more than that. We would definitely recommend this property.
