About Neil Brown

I am a retired university professor and my wife is a retired

elementary school teacher.

Neil Brown purchased this house in 2006

Why Neil Brown chose White Haven

We wanted an Amish-built log home with an outstanding view.

Built this log home on the edge of a cliff overlooking

the Lehigh River Gorge - the best view of any home in the

Poconos.

What makes this house unique

The log home is ideally located near all of the activities in the Poconos - yet, secluded. You have the best of both worlds - lots of things to do yet away from the mad rush!

Perfect house!

  • 5 of 5

This home was so amazing, and so spacious it comfortably fit all 16 of us! We do a weekend trip and rent a home every year, and this by far is one of my personal favorites. I just wish it was a bit closer to the mountain. Other than that, no complains. The neighbors we so friendly and took care of us. A snow storm hit, and bill made sure our deck was salted and driveway was plowed. Even offered to help if anyone got stuck. And WOW, what a view! ALso, the kitchen! I packed kitchen stuff and didn’t even have to pull it out! Fully equipped! Overall a perfect weekend. Thank you again Neil for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful spacious cabin with gorgeous view!

  • 5 of 5

Recently spent three days here with 15 friends and we had a fantastic time! Everything was as described, if not better! There is plenty of space, with five comfortable bedrooms and also a loft and basement area that's great for kids to spread out in! The home is fully stocked with plenty of towels, cozy bedding, and any kitchen implement you could possibly want. There is a large grill conveniently located right outside the front door, which was clean and ready to go. There were spectacular views from the hot tub on the upper deck. When we had trouble getting one of the fireplaces to come on, we sent a text and within minutes someone came right over and helped us out. Also, there was plenty of beautiful hiking nearby. We definitely hope to return and experience this lovely cabin in other seasons!

Incredible home, great view – helpful, attendent owner.

  • 5 of 5

Rented this place for a low-key get-together with a collection of far-flung friends. We had no issues with cars/ parking, and when we rolled up, we were floored by the beautiful beautiful view. The home is solid, well maintained, and accurate-as-advertised: sleeps many, entertains many. We loved the porches, grill, pool table, hot tub, bar, etc. Couldn't ask for better – thank you again, Neil!
