About Michael Craig
Michael and Brigitte Craig have been married over two decades and love both travel and working from home. Dr. Craig is a retired chiropractor who currently trains coaches and consultants, and helps Brigitte run a small home-based business and keep up their few remaining properties.
Michael Craig purchased this Cabin in 2002
Why Michael Craig chose Tellico Plains
Michael and Brigitte owned one beach home in the Bahamas when 9-11 happened, and they worried that 'No one would ever fly to the islands again.' They turned out to be wrong, but in the meantime had bought a few cabins in the Coker Creek area 'just in case.' Cupid's Cove is the only one they kept because it was the nicest of them all, and holds a lot of special moments and memories for hundreds of couples and families.
What makes this Cabin unique
The upstairs loft bedroom with balcony, and the outdoor deck and spa offer a special introduction to the natural beauty of the Cherokee National Forest. Although not entirely isolated, this cabin is hidden from neighbors, very quiet and private. The unique layout also houses a big-screen TV with satellite reception, satellite Internet WiFi, a fully-furnished and tiled kitchen (except for dishwasher) and a nice DVD library. Your cell phone will NOT work, however, unless you can use it through WiFi or Skype (and watch that you don't have a lot of silently-running apps that can run up a big tab - turn your phone off when not using). .

5th Anniversary Weekend
Cabin was romantic and cozy! Absolute beautiful area! The waterfalls were breathtaking! We will be back!
Beautiful location, and the best outfitted kitchen...there is even a juicer. There is a tea kettle and tea pots, something I usually don’t encounter at rental like this. As a tea drinker this is appreciated.
This property is everything pictured; however, its kind of difficult to get to in a car, very rough roads. Another thing is there isn't cell service in the forest. Other than that, the cabin was very well stocked. A perfect vacation
Peaceful and relaxing
Cupid's Cove Cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. My husband and I were able to some nice hiking and site seeing, then come back and relax and unwind. Really enjoyed the peacefulness and solitude of the cabin.
Just bring food
While I wouldn't recommend driving here in your Corvette, I would definitely recommend staying at Cupid's Cove for a few nights. Everything you need for the perfect stay is furnished, so just bring the groceries. There are lots of places to explore, or if you just want to relax, the cabin is very comfortable and cozy. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Very secluded. No cell phone access. Perfect if you want to get away. Only 15 minutes to the skyway.
Cupid's Cove Log Cabin is located in the Cherokee National Forest in Coker Creek, Tennessee, 10 miles from 'downtown' Tellico Plains and 20 from Madisonville, the county seat of Monroe County. Close to all shopping and amenities.
